We were lucky to catch up with Andres Gonzalez recently and have shared our conversation below.

I´m the owner of 2 gyms, in Coral Gables Fl, since Covid 2021 i experience a lack of clients almost to the point to close the business. Most of my gym clients start to drinking alcohol more frequently. so i started creating new liquor options more healthier and better quality. Then i create the brand VIVA CASA (LIVE HOUSE). This brand is dedicated to bring family together and celebrate each moment of the life, or spend quality time with them self. VIVA CASA create a non-profit organization VIVA CASA SOUL
This organization has the purpose to pant trees around the world and clean the oceans. Also we are looking to build a shelter for dogs that their time expired in the public shelters, also make people more consent of having pet, that a pet is not a toy that you can take out and that’s it. people have to learn how to be more soul human and not animal human

How to help us to clean the ocean?
we are going to start a project cleaning the oceans, please send a email to, [email protected], and tell us that you want to participate on our cleaning program. By the side the idea is to minimize waste inside your house. We will make people consent how to mange better the plastic that is killing our oceans.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I consider myself to be proactive, a risk-taker and an optimistic entrepreneur, with a happy attitude towards life. Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine. While attending college in Guatemala, I got involved in different businesses, such as manufacturing products for animals, cosmetics and beauty products and cleaning supplies. I also had the opportunity of working in a family business involved in the manufacturing of wooden pallets.
It was then when I decided to change my life direction and move to Miami 2019
I grew tremendously professionally and personally early in my career before moving to Miami and I am very thankful for those opportunities. However, I didn’t feel fulfilled and my dreams were much bigger. Upon my arrival in Miami, I attended several interviews with hiring positions in the Marketing industry. Unfortunately, or I should say, fortunately, I wasn’t offered a job.
Given my marketing education and experience and based on what I love, I started a Marketing Company. My first customers have been very pleased with my work which keeps me motivated to continue working on the growth of the company as well as translating those skills into my new GYMGUYZ business & FITNEXT.
Then COVID arrived by 2021 and i was doing so bad in the fitness industry that i have to make several changes on my life, reduce light and water use on my house. No eating outside. Looking from were im going to get money to pay the staff. I started to struggle. But then i had and idea, how about if we make differt and healthier liquor, my clients are drinking from Monday to Sunday and they don’t want to work out. Also my self with my friends we start making more cocktail since we were at home all day. and we can’t go out because all is expensive and we don’t have money and the cheap liquor is so bad for your body, so we start doing our own liquor blends and home made distilled. Then i realize that the products are so good and we need them to expose to the people, and i created VIVA CASA
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I learn
– keep your life chill but make it happen –
You have to learn to be strong and act the best way with the options you have and don’t be scare of the life changes.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
I fund my first business the first 7 months with all my credit cards i had available. I did this because i didn’t have credit on this country, and an international loan was difficult to get because of my age of 24 in 2019 i moved 3 years ago to the US from Guatemala. But i was born here so was easy to me start a new life here.
