We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andrei Tone. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andrei below.
Andrei, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Tone Films OKC wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born from frustration, inspiration, and the desire to bring depth back into digital content.
I was working with businesses through Atomic Accounting, helping founders grow, scale, and stay financially healthy. But over and over, I saw a common thread: great businesses with strong products and passionate teams, but zero compelling storytelling. Their content felt generic, forgettable, and disconnected from their mission.
One day I was walking through a local coffee shop—just observing the way people interacted, how the space felt, and how much heart the owners clearly put into it. I thought, “Why isn’t anyone capturing this with the same level of soul?”
That moment stuck with me.
I picked up a camera, started experimenting, and offered to film a short story-driven piece for a small business—free of charge. That single video led to another, then another. Soon I was creating cinematic content for brands across Oklahoma City—businesses like cafes, gyms, restaurants, and entrepreneurs who had never worked with a video team before. It became clear: the demand was there, but most OKC video production companies weren’t offering what these businesses truly needed—emotionally resonant, purpose-driven storytelling with strategy behind the lens.
That’s when Tone Films OKC was born.
We weren’t just another OKC production company. We were building something different—where brand strategy meets visual art. Our approach blended cinematic visuals with a deep understanding of brand identity, business goals, and emotional marketing. From day one, our team of passionate OKC videographers was focused on solving one core problem: how do we help brands move people, not just impress them?
The excitement came from watching clients light up when they saw their story told in a way they had never experienced before. We weren’t selling videos—we were unlocking trust, connection, and momentum.
Today, Tone Films OKC stands out because we bring an unmatched combination of storytelling craft and business clarity. We’ve helped Oklahoma City gyms, restaurants, and retail brands elevate their message, attract loyal customers, and grow with purpose.
And it all started with a moment of empathy, a spark of vision—and a camera.

Andrei, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Andrei Tone, the founder of Tone Films OKC, and I’ve always been wired to see potential—in people, in businesses, in overlooked stories that deserve to be told with excellence. My background is in business and strategy, and I originally built a company called Atomic Accounting to help entrepreneurs scale with clarity and confidence. But what I discovered along the way was that even the most solid business models fall short if they fail to connect with people emotionally.
That’s where my love for filmmaking came in.
What started as a passion project—helping business owners tell their story visually—quickly became a movement. I realized that Oklahoma City was full of inspiring people, bold startups, legacy brands, and creative spaces… but most of them didn’t have the content to reflect the depth and soul of who they are. That gap is what launched Tone Films OKC, now one of the fastest-growing Oklahoma City video production companies.
We specialize in high-impact visual storytelling:
🎥 Brand videos
📱 Social media content
🏪 Commercials for small businesses
🧠 Promotional content with emotional strategy
🏋️ Gym & lifestyle videography
☕ Hospitality & restaurant cinematics
📈 And more…
Some of the standout OKC-area brands we’ve had the privilege to work with include coffee shops, restaurants, fitness studios, and nonprofits who want more than just a “cool video.” They want something that captures their identity—something that moves people and drives action.
What sets Tone Films OKC apart from other OKC videographers and OKC production companies is the fusion of strategy and soul. We don’t just press record—we dive into your brand values, your voice, your goals, and build a film that feels true to you while resonating deeply with your audience.
We solve the problem so many business owners face: they’re doing incredible work, but no one knows how to talk about it. We give you the visuals and narrative language to build trust, grow your reach, and stand out.
I’m most proud of the way we’ve helped small businesses feel seen—often for the first time. From capturing the hustle of a local gym like Obtain Strength, to showcasing the warmth and culture of iconic cafes and restaurants, every project reminds me why I do this.
At the end of the day, Tone Films OKC exists to elevate voices, celebrate purpose, and turn vision into visibility.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One story that stands out to me as a defining moment of resilience happened early in the journey of Tone Films OKC.
We had just started getting traction—small businesses were beginning to recognize our work, and projects were picking up. But right in the middle of that momentum, we landed what we thought was a “dream” client: a well-known brand in the OKC area. We poured weeks into the creative strategy, planning, gear rentals, shooting schedule, and team logistics. It was our biggest production to date—emotionally and financially.
But just days before final delivery, the client pulled out unexpectedly. No real explanation. They ghosted on communication and never completed their payment. It was a gut-punch. I had invested my own money upfront for equipment, crew, and resources because I believed in the project—and now it felt like we were back at square one.
For a brief moment, I questioned everything. Was this sustainable? Could I keep leading a Tulsa and OKC video production company that played at a high level but carried so much risk?
But that moment taught me something: vision doesn’t shrink in hard seasons—it sharpens.
Instead of folding, I used that footage to create a dynamic spec reel. We turned it into a showcase piece for future pitches. And ironically, that reel landed us more work than the original project ever could have. It helped Tone Films OKC get into doors with restaurants, gyms, and coffee shops across the city—from NOLAs to Obtain Strength to Kilkenny’s Irish Pub.
Resilience isn’t just about bouncing back—it’s about turning failure into fuel. I kept showing up, reinvested, and refined our process. That trial ultimately sharpened our client selection process, contract systems, and communication. And now, we operate with even more clarity, confidence, and creative freedom.
Today, Tone Films OKC is known as one of the most trusted OKC production companies because we don’t just create beautiful videos—we know how to walk through the hard stuff and still deliver.
That season reminded me: if you build your brand on purpose and perseverance, setbacks become setups.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my journey happened when I shifted from consulting and finance into full-time filmmaking. I had built a solid career with Atomic Accounting, working closely with startups and small business owners to help them scale and stay profitable. But deep down, I felt something was missing. I wasn’t just passionate about helping businesses grow—I wanted to help them connect, inspire, and tell stories that actually moved people.
At first, Tone Films OKC was just a creative outlet. I’d shoot videos on weekends for local brands—coffee shops, gyms, restaurants—just to help them elevate their online presence. We worked with names like The Collaborative Coffee, Obtain Strength, NOLAs, and Shades of Brown. But over time, I realized these projects weren’t just “side work”—they were the most fulfilling part of my week.
The pivot moment came when I noticed how poor the digital content landscape really was. A lot of brands were working with OKC video production companies, but their videos lacked heart, strategy, and a compelling narrative. That’s when I saw the gap—and the opportunity.
I made the decision to go all in on Tone Films OKC, shifting my focus from strictly financial strategy to full-scale storytelling. It wasn’t easy. I had to rewire my daily habits, build new systems, invest in gear, grow a team, and reintroduce myself to the market—not just as a business consultant, but as an OKC videographer and creative strategist.
That pivot unlocked growth. What started with passion became a full-scale OKC production company producing cinematic brand films, social media content, and commercial work for businesses across Oklahoma City.
Looking back, the pivot wasn’t just about changing direction—it was about aligning purpose with action. It taught me that clarity doesn’t always come at the beginning. Sometimes, you step out first—and the vision expands as you walk it out.
