Alright, Andrea Ximena thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One deeply underappreciated facet of being an entrepreneur or creative is the kind of crazy stuff that happens from time to time. It could be anything from a disgruntled client attacking an employee or waking up to find out a celebrity gave you a shoutout on TikTok – the sudden, unexpected hits (both positive and negative) make the profession both exhilarating and exhausting. Can you share one of your craziest stories?

I think one of the craziest, most beautiful and most satisfying stories at the same time was do a woman’s dream come true. During this year I start to doing flying dress photoshoot cancun. This sessions are very fashionable in Santorini, Greece. So I decided to bring this concept to Cancun, Mexico. I started taking photos with the flying dress with my friends in cancun and suddenly one woman contact me directly on my phone. She call me very excited. This woman saw my photos on internet and she told me that her dream was to take her vacations in Santorini Greece but it was not possible for this time and she decided to travel to Mexico. She saw my photos on the internet and couldn’t believe that these photo sessions were taking place in Cancun Mexico. But in addition to that, she was very afraid of her size. She asked me if I had plus size dresses. Of course I had them! I inspire confidence in her and she trusts me. The result was an emotional and beautiful photo session.

When I founded my company I wanted to be inclusive and real. I did it thinking of all women. In all possible forms and bodies. Together with my designer we made dresses that were comfortable to wear, easy and elegant. We have a variety of colors and they all fit. We have from size petit to XXXL. I feel very happy to have been able to make a woman’s dream come true. I believe that each woman has her unique beauty and my mission in photo sessions is to make them feel unique and special.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

At the age of twenty five an agency in Cancun hired me as a lifestyle photographer. Now i’m thirty years old and I decide to found my company “Cancun Photos”. I am in charge to do personally the flying dress photo sessions.

Other people have tried to copy my idea and my designs, however my difference is my passion with which I take each photograph. I am passionate about instagram images. Really my intention is to make your trip something unique and fun.

My wish is when you return from your trip, I want you to say, ¡Wow, I went on vacation to Cancun, and a very nice girl took some photos of my trip and I had a lot of fun!. If I go back I would hire her again. And I can say very proud that I have had repetitive families, who return from a trip to Cancun and contact me again. I am very grateful to all the people who have been part of this.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The life of an artist is not easy. Those of us who dedicate ourselves to the arts know how complex it is to open a career in the medium and that people pay attention to you.

You need to be really good at what you do and persevere. Many people whose dream was to be a filmmaker, writer or photographer choose another careers that give them short-term economic benefits.

In my case, I wanted to give up when the coronavirus pandemic began. But at that time my father supported me, he believed in me always and he sent me money to support me. I am very grateful to him, but unfortunately he passed away one year ago, but I feel that he is really proud of me. What I remember most about him is that phrase “always fighting for your dreams and getting ahead, forward, don’t give up”.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is to be able to give people love through a beautiful image of their journey. Give you hope for a family moment by viewing the photograph of your trip
