Andrea , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I started in the world of jewelry when I worked for a company that offered jewelry to wholesalers. I packed the bags, I kept the jewelry, I visited some jewelry stores and they sent me to international jewelry events. From that moment, I realized that I sold a lot and that I helped women a lot to choose their ideal jewelry. He had a lot of empathy with people and also liked the product so much!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Andrea Serrano, I am Venezuelan, journalist, wife and mother of 2 boys: one 5 years old and the other 1 year old. We started our company Glossy Jewellery after the pandemic when we had to move to the city of Charleston, South Carolina after my husband and I lost our jobs in Miami.
We make the investment of buying the jewelry from the company with whom she works part time in the city of Miami. At first I kept selling in Miami, until we started attending events, fairs, festivals in Charleston.
Currently we have more clients in Charleston than in any other city in the United States. Our intention is to increase our online sales and continue pleasing women who feel beautiful and confident.
Our products are 925 silver jewelry, 18k gold plated, with fresh water pearls and zirconia stones. They are very delicate, elegant and tasteful pieces.
Every day we work to offer women to feel good about themselves and raise self-esteem with our jewelry

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
We work with videos, we show how our jewelry is seen, both in silver and gold, new merchandise, the background of our work.
That way we communicate with our absence, they ask us, we send more photos and prices. We are on Instagram, Facebook and we also sell through our website www.glossyjewellery.com

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Most of our clients have caught it through social media and by attending events where they can see and try on our jewelry. We believe that when the client sees our pieces, they feel safer in buying and thus wear the jewelry,
