Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi, I’m Andrea Parker
Keynote Speaker, Conscious Leadership Coach, Co-founder of FunX and Co-Host of WTF: Where’s the Fun? Podcast.
I help business leaders get out of their heads and into their hearts, to bring more joy into their personal lives and businesses.
With over a decade of experience working as a police detective I took the leap and started my own business coaching multi-million dollar business leaders, transformational speakers, holistic doctors, professional athletes, and Emmy-award-winning producers.
I know how to inspire action. My goal is to energize and motivate audiences to move beyond passive learning, empowering them to make BOLD, heart-centred steps towards real transformation.
My Desire For You Is To:
✨ Enjoy your work every day.
✨ Make your dream lifestyle a reality.
✨ Create an abundance of inspiration and creativity.
✨ Embrace a mindset where anything feels possible in your business.
✨ Connect with other entrepreneurs who desire deeper bonds and amplified potential.
I walk this path daily, and continue to embrace it fully. This path of transformation and possibility is open to you as well.
How it Started:
I spent years working my way up the police ranks, only to realize that long hours and burnout weren’t the life I wanted to look back on. So, I made a radical and transformational decision: I walked away from the safety and familiarity of my career.
After extensive training with top coaches and mentors in human behaviour, the subconscious mind, and performance coaching, I built a thriving coaching business, helping multi-7-figure business leaders achieve better results while having more fun. From the outside, I was living the ultimate coaching dream – yet, I wasn’t living my dream.
I encountered the same conventional business approaches — you know, the ones that bombard you with too much information and restrict your beliefs about what’s possible. I wasn’t interested in conforming to those standards. Instead, I broke free once again and gave myself the freedom to innovate.
I embraced what I called the SUMMER OF FUN! My wife and business partner, Mel, and I intentionally slowed down, prioritized joy, and allowed ourselves to have more FUN.
To our surprise, this shift not only rejuvenated us but also led to greater financial success than we had experienced while working non-stop (who would’ve guessed?). We returned to our business more inspired, connected, and enthusiastically aligned with our true desires.
This transformational period led us to close our traditional coaching practice and dedicate ourselves to helping other leaders abandon outdated methods and embody a new, more fulfilling approach to business and life.
We now help heart-led leaders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs who are ready for more: more impact, more wealth, more joy, and more magic—all while having more fun than ever before.
Through our curated mastermind experiences, my keynote talks, and our podcast WTF: Where’s the Fun?, we inspire leaders to break free from outdated norms and embrace a new way of living and leading. Because we believe that life and business are so much better when you’re following the fun!

What sets us apart?
What truly sets FunX apart is our superpower: curating safe spaces for you—the leader behind the business—to slow down, reconnect, and play in the energy of what really matters. We believe that when business owners prioritize fun in their businesses, that’s when the magic happens.
This isn’t about more strategies or step-by-step frameworks. It’s about reconnecting with your heart, your big vision, and that spark that’s been calling you forward. It’s about remembering the joy of why you started your business in the first place—and reigniting that passion with greater ease, excitement, and fulfillment.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Everything changed in my business the moment I stopped doing what I was told I should “do” and started being a self-led entrepreneur instead.
But that shift didn’t happen overnight.
Here’s how I transformed my business to create the life I wanted (rather than chasing someone else’s definition of success).
First, let’s rewind a little.
I spent years building a successful coaching business the traditional way. I trained with top coaches and mentors in human behaviour, the subconscious mind, and performance coaching.
However, I soon realized I was living their dream for me, not my own.
While I was good at one-on-one coaching, it wasn’t what my heart truly desired.
After giving myself permission to step back and reflect on what would be fun for me and what I genuinely wanted, I discovered that I wanted to take a whole new approach to helping leaders shift their experiences– through co-creation.
I didn’t want to continue the old model of being the sole authority telling clients what to do. It felt heavy and rigid.
I wanted the process to be joyful, fun, and playful. I wanted to co-create alongside them, acting as a guide and partner in their journey, making the experience lighter and more enjoyable.
So, we closed the coaching business and took all the wisdom and knowledge we had gained to help leaders embody this new approach.
We now achieve this through experiences, group peer-to-peer masterminds, and speaking engagements, always infusing joy, fun, and play into everything we do.
Just because you’ve learned from mentors doesn’t mean you have to follow their way.
Create your own path and live the life you want.
I’m grateful to my mentors for their guidance and to myself for having the courage to bring my true essence to life, embracing joy and play along the way.
Now, I am so happy that I am in a position to help other business owners make the same shifts and start redefining success in their life and businesses.
This is possible for you too. The FunXperience will show you the way!
You can create a life and business that you truly love and that brings you joy!
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
What if you stopped trying to fit into someone else’s definition of success and asked yourself this instead?
When was the last time you truly prioritized fun?
Think back to your childhood. Do you remember the joy of playing games of hide-and-seek, making forts, and licking batter off the electric mixer? And maybe somewhere along the way, you learned to suppress your innate joy and playful wonder to fit in.
That’s what happened to me. I stopped asking, “What would make this more fun for me?” and started asking, “What do I need to do to fit in, feel safe, and succeed?”
This approach worked—I graduated at the top of my class, led sports teams, and excelled at work from a young age. I learned discipline, leadership, and high performance.
But eventually, I had to face the truth—this method wasn’t sustainable or fulfilling. I realized this in June 2022 when I was sitting at my computer, feeling tired and frustrated and judging myself for not being where I thought I should be. It hit me—what was the point of building a dream life if I wasn’t actually enjoying it?
I was just checking boxes, disconnected from what mattered most—ME. I hadn’t fully tapped into my essence, joy, and intuition. Creating from my head and forcing myself to meet external expectations only took me so far. True impact, expansion, and joy come from the heart.
But now, I’m in my “making myself proud” era, and it’s a game-changer.
Making my 5-year-old self proud is now my top priority. It’s not about perfection but about going slow, allowing my essence to shine, and enjoying the process.
Because, the truth is that real impact and magic happen when you embrace your TRUE essence and stay open to possibilities.
Shifting from making others proud to making yourself proud begins with aligning with your truth. It means having the courage to show up as you are, prioritizing your joy, and letting go of the “shoulds,” obligations, and the exhausting front of perfection.
What if you stopped trying to fit into someone else’s definition of success and asked yourself, “What would make this journey more fun for ME?” Imagine how your life, business, and relationships could transform if you prioritized joy over obligation.
So, if you’re being honest with yourself, are you truly making yourself proud? If not, that’s okay. What’s one thing you can do right now to shift your focus to your joy and happiness?
Start by asking: What would make this even more fun for me today?
