We were lucky to catch up with Andrea Oyloe recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
My coaching journey actually began while I was working on my Master’s degree – I took a deep dive into Evidence-Based Coaching and instantly knew this was my calling. I started out focusing on business and leadership coaching, but life had other plans that would add even more depth to my practice.
During my studies, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and I became her primary caregiver. This experience opened my eyes to a real need in the coaching world – supporting caregivers and cancer patients who often struggle to navigate their challenging journeys. Now, I’ve come full circle, bringing this powerful perspective back to my business and executive leadership coaching.
I believe in looking at life and leadership from every angle – what I like to call a 360-degree approach. While I especially love helping leaders find that sweet spot between work and personal life through better boundaries, I work with all sorts of clients on their unique goals. Every person’s journey is different, and I tailor my approach to match exactly what my clients need.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I love working with people who are going through big changes in their lives, facing tough challenges, or looking to step up their leadership game. You know those moments when life feels overwhelming and you just wish you had someone in your corner? That’s exactly where I come in.
I’ve seen firsthand what a huge difference it makes to have someone really listening and supporting you through life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re trying to find that tricky balance in life, working on creating healthier habits, or aiming to become a stronger leader, I’m here to help figure it out. Think of me as an personal cheerleader and strategy partner rolled into one!
What makes my approach special is that I can draw from different areas of expertise to create something that works just for you.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
My journey into coaching began during one of the most challenging periods of my life—navigating the height of the COVID-19 pandemic while also supporting my mother. This experience revealed something fundamental about myself: I don’t just persevere through challenges—I thrive on them. Each obstacle became a stepping stone, strengthening my resolve and deepening my understanding of what it truly means to pursue your passion against all odds. This resilience has not only shaped my personal journey but also enriches my approach to coaching, allowing me to connect authentically with clients as they navigate their own transitions and challenges.

Have you ever had to pivot?
In the last 5 years there have so many moments where I have had to pivot and and adjust. One of the most significant pivots in my life occurred when I was pursuing a career in business and leadership coaching while working toward my Master’s degree. Shortly into the program, I became a primary caregiver at the age of 25. This life-changing event shifted my priorities, and I transitioned from business coaching to focusing on coaching for caregivers and cancer patients, recognizing the need for support in this area.
While it altered my original career path, this pivot was deeply rewarding and gave me a renewed sense of purpose. Over time, I reconnected with my passion for business and executive leadership coaching, and now, I integrate both areas to help individuals find balance and thrive through life’s challenges.
