We were lucky to catch up with Andréa D. Wells recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Andréa D. thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
What my parents did right was model creativity and critical thinking. They both encouraged me to develop my mind and my talents but to always use them for good. They’re both creatives, yet deeply grounded, and they taught me that talent without character and hard work doesn’t build anything that lasts.
Their love was my first example of healthy partnership. They are two people who truly support one another’s dreams without competition, only collaboration. My mom intentionally taught me the biblical principles of love and what qualities to value in a relationship and in men. My dad showed me what safety and strength feel like in masculine form. His presence became the energy model I sought out.
They believed in every one of my endeavors and wild ideas and they spoke life into my identity. Because of them, I lead with faith, create with purpose, and love with discernment.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Andrèa D. Wells, founder of ADW Wellness Services, a holistic coaching and wellness practice built on one core truth: when you apply God’s definition of love, every part of your life starts to align.
My work blends relationship coaching, matchmaking, and behavioral science with wellness practices like breathwork, meditation, and restorative stretching. I believe real transformation starts when the mind, body, and spirit are all speaking the same language: Love.
When I worked as a fitness coach, I learned how deeply our emotional and spiritual health shows up in our physical wellness. That experience helped me develop my full-circle approach. I don’t separate faith from function, or mindset from movement. Every part of you is called to be well.
What sets me apart is the way I merge biblical principles, behavior analysis, and embodied healing to help singles and couples transform their relationships, routines, and self-worth. My coaching style is both soulful and strategic. Part prayer, part plan. I guide my clients to not only attract love but sustain it through better communication, emotional awareness, and daily alignment with who God designed them to be.
Through ADW Wellness Services, I offer:
* Faith-based relationship coaching
* Matchmaking for singles ready for intentional love
* Breathwork, meditation, and restorative stretching sessions
What I’m most proud of is seeing people fall in love with becoming whole, not just waiting for love to find them. My mission is to show that wellness and love are both acts of worship. When we align our hearts, habits, and healing with God’s word, we don’t just build relationships we build legacies.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Honestly, my best source of new clients has been word of mouth and client referrals. When people experience genuine transformation not just surface-level change, they naturally want to share it. I take that as the highest compliment.
Because my approach is so personal and faith-centered, people can feel the authenticity behind it. I pray over my work and the people I serve, and I think that energy of care, discernment, and truth is what draws others in.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A big lesson I had to unlearn was rushing the process. I’ve always been someone who moves fast. I want it done, and I want it done yesterday. But I had to learn that speed doesn’t always equal progress. There were times when I moved so quickly that I’d overlook small details, and then I’d end up circling back to fix things that could’ve been right the first time.
God has really been teaching me the beauty of pace and presence. Slowing down doesn’t mean I’ve stopped it means I’m moving with intention. I realized that excellence requires attention. If I’m rushing, I’m usually operating out of fear that I’ll miss something. But when I’m still, I can hear God clearly and work from peace instead of pressure.
Now, I remind myself: what’s meant for me doesn’t need me to sprint, it needs me to steward.
