We were lucky to catch up with Andrea Cole recently and have shared our conversation below.
Andrea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you have any advice regarding quality control and maintaining quality as your brand grows?
Our core values: Excellence, Innovation & Transparency
Our team knows our values well and they know we won’t release pieces that don’t meet the company’s standards. We have implemented a lot of processes and procedures, every step of the way, throughout the 6 month cycle we work with each order, that we have minimized human errors and are able to catch them on each part of the process.
Having team captains/managers/leader is vital, as it holds the departments accountable.
Quality control checkpoints throughout the process is key.

We have been so blessed to have been able to grow Dbandrea to be the nation’s premier flower preservation company. We pride ourselves to deliver the best flower preservation quality and with that, it comes a huge amount pressure.
Maintaining quality when your company is pioneer is not enough. As we continue to grow and the market continues to change, continuing to innovate and elevate our quality has been a top priority. Our team spends an average of 30 hours per order (hands-on) working on our customer’s flowers, by reshaping and color restoring every part of the bloom to match the flowers when they were fresh and ensure longevity.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
How do we elevate our quality and innovate while our team is growing and more competition is emerging? Is racing pricing justifiable when we already charge a premium and the economy is tanking?
While the short answer is no, and spending more and more time crafting and perfecting our work, while compensating our team higher than ever, seem to be contradicting, this is when we refer back to our core values; Excellence, Innovation and Transparency – we put our customers first, and we know it will pay off.

We are huge believers that in order to maintain our reputation and credibility, that our quality cannot be compromised.
