We were lucky to catch up with Andrea Brown recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I took a life changing risk of moving across three states to attend law school as a single mom to a child with special needs. I have had the dream of becoming an attorney since I could remember…I didn’t do so well in undergrad so I was a little unsure of how it was going to go, if I was even going to get accepted. My son was born in 2019, and after that some other things followed such as getting him diagnosed with Autism, getting him the help he needed and etc. Didn’t really sound like a great time to be worried about law school when my child needs help, routine, and a present mother so the dream had to be delayed. Fast forward to 2023, I had the itch to want to try again which meant studying for the LSAT and making the sacrifices necessary to achieve this dream of mine. LSAT was taking in early 2024 and applied around November of the year and the wait was long and hard and at one point I started to give up and move as if I wasn’t going to get accepted but God had other plans. I got accepted literally the day I had signed another lease for an apartment, now that I have moved for law school it has been one of the best risks ever. I moved to a new place where I don’t know anyone, literally coming from a clean slate and let’s just say this has been a great stretching to say the least.

Andrea, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Andrea Bee, and I am a content creator, motivational speaker, storyteller, and host of the “You’re Not Done Yet” podcast. At the core of my brand is a simple but powerful message: your story isn’t over, your purpose still matters, and there is hope on the other side of every challenge.
My journey began with a passion for connecting with people and sharing authentic stories. Throughout my life, I’ve experienced seasons that tested my faith, resilience, and determination. Those experiences taught me that our struggles don’t disqualify us they often prepare us for the very purpose we’re called to fulfill. What started as a desire to encourage others through my own story has evolved into a platform that inspires people to keep going, dream bigger, and embrace the next chapter of their lives.
Through my brand, I create content focused on faith, motherhood, personal growth, lifestyle, and encouragement. As the host of the “You’re Not Done Yet” podcast, I have meaningful conversations with individuals who have overcome obstacles, reinvented themselves, or discovered purpose in unexpected places. My goal is to provide listeners with real stories, practical inspiration, and the reminder that setbacks do not have to define their future.
As a motivational speaker, I speak to audiences about resilience, faith, overcoming adversity, personal growth, and finding purpose through life’s challenges. Whether speaking on a stage, behind a microphone, or through social media, my mission remains the same: to encourage people to keep moving forward and recognize the value of their unique journey.
What sets me apart is my authenticity. I don’t believe in presenting a perfect version of life. Instead, I believe in showing up honestly, sharing lessons learned through experience, and creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and encouraged. My audience connects with me because I am willing to have real conversations about both the victories and the struggles.
What I am most proud of is building a platform that gives people hope. Every message from someone who felt encouraged to keep going, every listener who found inspiration through a podcast episode, and every person who leaves one of my speaking engagements feeling empowered reminds me why I do this work. Impact will always be more important to me than numbers.
The most important thing I want people to know about me and my brand is that I genuinely believe everyone has a purpose and a story worth telling. No matter what you’ve faced, where you’ve been, or how many times you’ve had to start over, you’re not done yet. My mission is to help people see possibility where they once saw limitations and to remind them that some of the best chapters of their lives may still be ahead.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely. My mission is to encourage and inspire people to grow closer to Christ while also recognizing the strength, purpose, and potential that God has already placed within them. I want people to understand that faith and action go hand in hand. We are called to trust God, but we’re also called to step out boldly, pursue our purpose, and believe in ourselves.
Through my content, speaking engagements, and the “You’re Not Done Yet” podcast, I strive to remind people that their current circumstances do not determine their future. Life will bring challenges, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty, but those moments don’t have the final say. God has a purpose for each of us, and I firmly believe that if He brings you to a place, He will provide what you need to get through it and grow from it.
My goal is to help people find hope, strengthen their faith, and gain the confidence to keep moving forward even when the path ahead isn’t clear. I want every person who encounters my platform to walk away knowing that they are capable, they are called, and they are not alone. No matter what chapter they’re in, God is still writing their story, and they’re not done yet.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the greatest examples of resilience in my journey has been navigating life as a single mother raising a child with special needs while pursuing a law degree and building the platform that I believe God has called me to create.
There have been many moments when the responsibilities felt overwhelming. Balancing motherhood, caregiving, academics, and entrepreneurship often meant sacrificing sleep, pushing through exhaustion, and learning how to trust God in seasons of uncertainty. There were times when the path ahead seemed impossible, but I refused to let my circumstances define my future.
My son has been one of my greatest motivations and teachers. Raising a child with special needs has taught me patience, strength, advocacy, and unconditional love. It has also shown me that progress doesn’t always happen on the timeline we expect, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Those lessons have carried over into every area of my life.
While working toward my law degree, I was also building my brand, creating content, speaking life into others, and launching the “You’re Not Done Yet” podcast. There were moments when I questioned whether I could do it all, but each challenge became another reminder that God equips us for the assignments He gives us. Every obstacle strengthened my faith and reinforced my belief that purpose is often developed in the middle of the struggle.
That journey continues to shape the message I share today. Resilience isn’t about never facing hardship it’s about choosing to keep moving forward despite it. My story is proof that even when life doesn’t look the way you planned, God can still use your circumstances to build something meaningful. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that your current season is not the end of your story. With faith, perseverance, and a willingness to keep showing up, you can accomplish more than you ever imagined.
