We recently connected with Andrea Bosbach Largent and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
There were two defining moments in my professional life.
With them come people who have shared parts of the paths with me, encouraged me, invited me. And it was a dear friend who invited me to come along with her to a Constellation Event. I was happy to provide a toeken of friendship in going with her, not yet knowing it would change the direction of my life in all aspects. Dr. Albrecht Mahr was leading the work and to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. The evidence came swiftly as I returned to my life: my chronic health condition disappeared – never returned, 35 years and continuing. My father made contact after many years of full disconnect – and we engaged in a new relationship until he passed. I was stunned!
So much change in one weekend? How would that be possible?
I decided that week of first encounter that I will study this work and learn how this much change is possible through the process of Systemic Constellations. Little did I know it was the beginning of a loving and devoted career. I am grateful!
The second trajectory was gifted to me during my time in India.
There, I was able to experience a sense of timeliness that is very timely! As in there is no busschedule. Yet the bus arrives always in time for when the traveler has to be taken places. Wow! To my germanic mind that was impossible, initially at least.
Another way to speak about is to say: India and all the people I encountered, experiences I was fortunate to have there – with family, friends, culture, and new friends… India permitted me to step into the web of interrelatedness, of connectivity in the profoundest of ways. It was tangeable, measurable, real, in all of the ways we consider reality. And while I live amongst western-minded cultures nowerdays, this reality of full interconnectedness reamins remains in me as part of my work, and life, to this day.
Many good teachers followed, many good learnings. Yet those two moments truely defined who I am today, and how I work today.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Dear Reader:
I am happy to share how I found my way to Systemic Constellation Work, and how it has sustained me for over 3 decades now. Before I do, I also wish to share what Systemic Constellation work can do: for you, for families, for people, and as a Healing.
Systemic Constellation Work is an experiential group process bringing to conscious awareness the binds, dilemmas and impossible loyalties we, as people, are capable of holding. This holding results in Chronic Illness of the mind, the body, and relations – including the relationship with Life itself, and success in life.
Systemic Constellation Work reveals where such binds, dilemmas or loyalties impose a limiting effect – while also providing the paths to step out and into the framework of Healing.
What makes systemic work so unique is that it re-engages the indigenous roots of our human existence, the wisdom and knowledge our ancestors are holding for us. In engaging these layers, the most complex of illness’, of abuse, of violence, of horror, can be layed to rest.
“As we re-establish Relation with Self, Others, with Body and Spirit – Self-healing is inevitable.” is a common sharing of mine.
When asked what Systemic Constellation brings to you, I’d say: ‘The full capacity of Health, Wealth and Relations in this World, within one’s own Self, and the Reality of Spirit and Matter we reside in.”
As such, I provide Systemic Constellations to those who seek change and/or healing.
Additionally, I provide guidance and training to those wanting to become Systemic Facilitators and those who wish to deepen their FacilitatorShip.
The inner inquiry that guides me is the question of ‘one’s own true nature’. This started in childhood. The observation that there was an essence of someone and with it came a discrepancy of how he/she responded, acted, related. Those were two different experiences. Nurturing in me the curiosity of
What is one’s own true nature?
And what factors into the gap between one’s true nature, and actions?
Consequently pondering: How does one return to one’s own nature, if strayed?
These questions remain a driver in my life to this day. Personally, it all started by wanting to solve a chronic condition I was encountering as a baby and that remained with me into my mid-twenties. The changes Constellation Work has brought to me, have set me onto a paths of life-long learning. And wellness beyond imagination.
Inside the Field of Constellations, I bring with me an acute sense of clinical awareness intertwined with deep roots in Ancestral Wisdom and Purpose which I was granted throughout my many years as a Practitioner and under the mentorship of two indigenous leaders in the world. I am one of the longest-standing practitioners in the Art of Constellating, certainly in the US, and partially in Europe. With that, I am uniquely positioned to be a Teacher in the Field of Systemic Constellation.
A student recently posted “Andrea, you are a gifted courageous teacher–looking for the exact resonance, the precision passed in words, specific to each one of us as students and what we need to hear, learn, see, engage in. Thank you.”
It is my passion to pass on the art of constellating to those who seek it.
It is my devotion to provide the frame for people to find the rightful healing of self, of body, of relating and success in all they wish to do. And more.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Well… I had to unlearn some concepts. First of all: the concept of certainty, and cause and effect. In the idea of cause and effect – the falsehood is that one thing results in another.
Reality however is more complex.
And so medicine is more complex.
It requires a tool that allows for all of this complexity to be seen, noticed. And from where, carefully, and succinctly the right dose of medicine, of action can be taken. Systemic Constellation Work is such a tool.
As long as the belief in cause/effect as a linear formula is what guides us, the complexity required for full healing is likley missed. And medicine becomes a hit or miss event.
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Absolutely!
