Andre, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Along with taking care of clients, taking care of our team is one of the most important things we can do as leaders. Looking back on your journey, did you have a boss that was really great? Maybe you can tell us about that boss and what made them a wonderful person to work for?
The best boss I ever had was Carl Weber he is a writer for tv shows that air on bet and working with him and being on production has been a pleasure. I have learned a lot from Carl Webers I got a lot of motivation and started writing my own movies and filming them.
Andre, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
my name is Andre Williams aka DreWilI started out filming podcast and talk shows in my studio in my apartment I had built and wanted to know more and gain more knowledge on how to do video and run production and to network an also to build a team, so I enrolled in Ohio Media School were I recently graduated in Aug. 2021 where I studied radio and video broadcasting. while I was in school, I started my video production company called DreWill Productions where I do videography and create great content for clients. So, When I graduated from Ohio Media School, I worked at my school to be a teacher assistant and to teach the basics of the camera to the new students that joined the school. from there I also worked at Fox 19 WXIX News Station, but my business DreWill Productions started growing and I became a travel videographer for club and party events and local artists and celebrities that came to perform in Cincinnati and didn’t have time to work a 9-5 anymore. and now with all the knowledge I had gained thru out the years led to me to Hollywood California working on the set of Carl Weber’s Black Hamptons and Carl Weber’s Family Business that airs on BET+ were I am a productions assistant and a 2nd camera operator assistant, and I am also acting on the shows, so I am back and forth to Cincinnati to Hollywood, and I get to learn and soak up so much knowledge that it drove me to write and direct my own films.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
what helps me build my reputation is working hard being loyal and doing what I say I’m going to do. and producing great product and on time
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
what helps me build my new clients is networking can’t be afraid to open your mouth and speak about your business or something that you love to do. you never know who’s next to you or watching you. network make the net worth, so I just talk to people every chance I get to tell them about my business or what I do.
