We were lucky to catch up with Andre’ Renee’ recently and have shared our conversation below.
Andre’ Renee’, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I love writing children’s books. At first, I thought it was to teach and motivate, but as time passed, I discovered the truth. I wasn’t just writing books; it was a way to describe my past. In these books, I see my wants, fears, and the promise of hope. My first book was the key to opening endless doors. Now, I’ve progressed to plays and movies. In schools, the first message I give children before I read is a seed they will water. I tell them, “When you find your passion, you’ve found your path.”

Andre’ Renee’, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
The question that’s often asked is, “Why do you write?” It surprises me every time. I don’t think they see it as a job. I love the financial side of writing. To be honest, I would write for free. My poetry is spiritual, my children’s books are a ministry, and the rest is my imagination. I write to release my thoughts; when I do, more take their place.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My writing goals are simple, I want to share my gift. I also wish that others would too. Imagine that,

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn not to seek approval. I write to free my thoughts, lesson’s learn and to create a mental getaway.
