Alright, Andre thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Covid has brought about so many changes – has your business model changed?

Initially Covid shut down a lot of my vending machine profits based on them being placed in office buildings that were shut down during the pandemic. However, I started placing them in essential businesses like coin laundromats and profits soared.

Andre, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I moved to Atlanta, GA from Milwaukee, WI in 2012 to pursue my rap career. Although I’ve found success in the music industry as an independent artist, the business knowledge itself set me up for many more avenues to make money such as real estate, vending machines, and the stock market.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn “always stay down with your day ones”. In all honesty in a perfect world we would remain friends with people forever, however not everyone in your life are meant to be there for the long haul. Not everyone will grow with you for example, you may want to go to real estate school or purchase a restaurant franchise and your friends may be content with only working a 9 to 5. Nothing wrong with a job but, you should stay away from people who talk down on your goals because they aren’t on the same page.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I literally saved all the money I made from music streams and sales from 2019 to fund buying my Vending Machines in 2020. Small sacrifice and I got back the money spent within 5 months.
