Andre , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a husband, father of 3 boys, author, investor, and successful entrepreneur. I’m the founder of Sociallybuzz and Best Date Ever. And the co-founder of MetAiBlock and Kids Maker Lab.
As an entrepreneur, I’ve been recognized for excellence in achieving business growth through innovation within the digital marketing industry. I’m committed to building companies that provide their employees with opportunities to thrive both professionally and personally while fostering their well-being both inside and outside of work.
At Sociallybuzz, I grew the company from a small “do it for you” social media company to a nationally recognized social media agency and software company. I grew the company from $0 to over $15 million with no outside investments.

My background includes being on the frontlines of digital marketing since its inception when I co-founded one of the first black-owned social media marketing agencies in Florida.
I lead Sociallybuzz in officially joining the Pledge 1% movement with a commitment to pledge 1% of Time, Talents, and Treasures to charitable causes in the community and the world.
My philanthropic efforts extend to giving back to families in need by donating hundreds of turkeys, back-to-school items, and Christmas gifts yearly to families in South Florida through my partnership with the local charity organization Bridge to Hope in Miami. I integrated Philanthropy into the Sociallybuzz culture with the launch of the Sociallybuzz giveback program. I’m leading Sociallybuzz in officially joining the Pledge 1% movement with a commitment to pledge 1% of Time, Talents, and Treasures to charitable causes in our community and our world.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Nothing great comes easy! From losing thousands of dollars, losing friendships, missing important family birthdays, and failing at other business ideas, I was able to turn my obstacles into opportunities.
I believe everything I learned within the five years before starting Sociallybuzz was what made me more resilient, and that essentially made Sociallybuzz.com successful.
In my banking career before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, I learned how to be financially responsible at starting a business at that level, and I also learned how to sell, which is essential in growing a business. If you can’t sell, you won’t get clients, and if you don’t have clients, you can’t pay the bills.
With my first official start-up, I learned how to run a business, market products, and get people to believe in me.
With my second start-up, Text To Party, my texting technology start-up that failed, I built significant relationships, and I learned how to develop business strategies.
Those three completely different experiences made me a renaissance man which gave me as much knowledge that I needed to take Sociallybuzz off the ground more calculated than if I was a first-time entrepreneur.
But, as I became more successful, I encountered a different level of challenges. You know that saying, Every next level of your life will demand a different version of yourself? The same in business. After the start-up life, I struggled with hiring the right people, then I struggled with raising capital, and I even struggled at scaling. All those things require a different type of skillset.
But as my “WHY” to succeed became bigger, my will to overcome struggles became stronger. That is why I continue to be successful.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?
We used Facebook and Google Ads to Drive Over 6 Figures in Sales for a B2B Service Brand.
Our objective was to use Facebook and Google Advertising to acquire quality and qualified leads.
The client goals:
– To convert leads to paying customers
– Increase awareness of their services
– Develop a cohesive social media presence
– Drive website conversions
The challenges we faced:
Prior to Sociallybuzz, the client’s main way to generate new business was for their salespeople to go door-to-door and solicit prospects “in person”. But as COVID hit, they had no choice but to change how they acquired customers. So we were tasked with developing a social media marketing strategy that would be the new source of acquiring qualified and targeted leads–during and after a pandemic.
Our Creative Ideas:
We developed a dynamic, cross-platform social media and paid media advertising strategy to increase brand awareness and drive qualified leads for our clients.
We used targeted Facebook ads as well as Google Ads that were optimized to acquire highly qualified leads – then implemented an automated retargeting advertising funnel that would drive significant conversions directly through their website land page.
The Key Results
Qualified Leads: The client closed over 50% of the leads we acquired.
Sales: They generated over 6 figures in initial sales, with a 7-figure LTV (Lifetime Value).
