Hi Andre , thanks for joining us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?

Growing up in the house with my mom I learned how to take care of my self early ,she always made sure me and my brothers where prepared for the world! She never sugar coated anything when us growing up, she gave us the real deal hard truth about most things when it came to how people are and situations we would run into in life. I think having a mother so intellectually intelligent helped me accept a lot of things in, which helped me experience life and not be afraid to take chances so much! My mom was definitely a TRAVELER 🧳 she would pack her bags and just go and we are very much alike in that sense. I believe me being a traveler also helps me as a artist because I like to go to other state by myself to promote and market myself a lot.

Andre , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

So my name is Special Andre aka Blacc Goose. I AM a poet/music artist! I have a very distinctive sound and style that most of my supporters say is very original and organic! I don’t follow trends to much, I believe I create them! Im very versatile with my artistry and I have many sounds not jus one ,I know that sets me apart from most artist.My unique voice allows me to touch different genres and ranges in music! My biggest obstacle so far in my career was not caring what ppl think about me, Im great at FITTING IN very well! Once I started creating my own lane and trusting it my career started becoming less forced and more organic,even my connections started to become more organic! Iam most proud of my ability to stand out and really be me no matter who accepts it or not!! I would love for my supporters to know that standing out as your authentic self is hard in a world full of ppl that usually follow trends, not doing so will probably make your life a little harder but that is your role in the harmonious balance of life! Grow!! at least try to reach your highest potential don’t stay stagnant, see how much better you can become! I want Artist to know we have a lot of kids watching and they are the future so let’s show them and mold them on how to put life to its highest and best use! IAM currently working on my first album “SPECIAL ANDRE” I don’t have a release date yet but it will be 2024 and it will be 10-15 tracts of high vibrational music! A lot less talk about guns, violence and drugs!!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Don’t be afraid to be who you want to be, your natural self, your character shouldn’t have to be forced! It’s okay if you aren’t like the majority, play your role as YOU in this movie! I say this because for years I’ve limited myself and my growth sticking around situations that didn’t allow me to expand my mind and my personality, for a long time I felt stuck and stagnant! I think feeling stuck and complacent is the worst feeling a human should experience! I believe it starts in your mind then it shows in your reality, your everyday functions in life.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I started off passing out cds hand to hand 💿 hanging up posters & meeting ppl staying in everybody face with product! I believe that is my greatest asset I’ve met a lot of core supporters this way! I believe STREET PROMOTION is still very important in my eyes! I think the internet is great for entertainment but, doing business you have to meet ppl and I was taught to treat my music career like a business! So most of my social media following came from street marketing then and it became word of mouth!!
