We were lucky to catch up with Andre Brown recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Andre, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

The entire company as a whole. As a company, we are proud to represent the first shared cinematic comic universe in Virginia. Our platform is built on a foundation of collaboration, creativity, and cultural diversity. We believe that bringing together characters from different backgrounds and walks of life not only reflects the world we live in—but also elevates the art form itself.

This isn’t just important for Virginia—it’s essential for storytelling everywhere.

Breaking Barriers. Doing the Impossible.

At the core of our company is a bold vision: to break barriers and achieve what others may see as impossible. We are driven by a passion to elevate careers, particularly for those in Virginia, and to showcase the powerful, untapped talent that exists right here in our own communities.

Through our comic company, we’ve successfully told compelling stories across multiple mediums—including comic books, live-action series, children’s books, and more. Every project we take on is a step toward changing the narrative—not just in the industry, but in culture itself.

Our work is rooted in positivity, purpose, and passion. We strive to be exceptional in everything we create while never losing sight of our main goal: to present diverse, culturally rich characters in a way that is authentic, respectful, and inspiring. Representation matters—and we’re proud to be leading that charge from Virginia to the world.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

We’ve been building this dream for over 10 years. What started as passion has grown into a movement—fueled by the relentless efforts of myself, Mr. Brandon, Donnie, and Mr. Wayne. We’ve invested time, energy, and our own resources to grow this company from the ground up.

Along the way, we discovered something powerful: we were creating what we believe to be the first shared comic cinematic universe born out of Virginia. That realization gave us a renewed sense of purpose—and became the driving force behind everything we’ve done since.

Donnie and Mr. Brandon, the visionaries behind Page Turner Entertainment, were ahead of their time. Over 12 years ago, they dreamed of launching a network through their website—one that would feature original content and become a platform to elevate creators right here in Virginia. That idea planted the seeds of what we are now growing into something extraordinary.

When I introduced the concept for Motion Man, everything changed. The chemistry between us was undeniable. It felt like destiny had brought us together. We each brought something unique to the table, and when we aligned, it created something bigger than ourselves.

Now, we’re not just building a brand—we’re building a legacy rooted in collaboration, diversity, and creative excellence.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

At one point, I realized I had taken on more than I could reasonably manage—but that moment of reflection became a turning point for our company. As we began to receive more help and support, the structure of our organization naturally improved. This shift allowed us to function more efficiently and ultimately elevated what we could accomplish as a company.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of balance. You need people who may not be creatives themselves, but who excel in areas like organization, logistics, and infrastructure. These individuals are vital to helping a creative company operate at its highest level.

Harmonization is essential—especially in environments where diverse creative talents are at play. Productivity thrives when structure and vision work together. Our recent growth and restructuring reflect that truth, and it’s made a meaningful difference in how we operate and execute our goals.
