We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andi Willis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andi below.
Andi, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
Back in the early 00s, I was on a girls’ trip to Pittsburgh. Just outside of town, we passed a highway sign that stated that that particular portion of the road was sponosred by the Livinggood family. We spent the rest of the trip joking about wanting to be the Livinggoods. Surely that family had a wonderful life with a name like that and enough money to sponsor a highway.
Fast forward to 2010, when I decided to start my residential organizing business, I struggled to find a name that captured the essence of what I wanted to provide my clients. I wanted them to find a sense of ease and calm in their lives. My mind kept drifting back to the Livinggoods. Didn’t we all want to be the Livinggoods and live the good life? Ah, the good life. I was trying to help my clients find that as we decluttered their homes. Thus Good Life Organizing was born.
Again fast forward to 2018, when I decided to restructure my business to focus solely on photo organizing. Did this rebrand need an entirely new name? After much thought, I decided it didn’t. It only needed a small tweak. Good Life Photo Solutions would exist to help clients find solutions to their chaotic photo collections as we work to organize and preserve their memories of their own good lives.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
At Good Life Photo Solutions, we are committed to helping our clients organize and preserve their precious family photos and videos so that the entire family can access and enjoy their memories for generations to come.
Preserving the family’s photos is high on our clients’ to-do lists, but often this becomes an overwhelming process to do on their own. Often they feel a sense of guilt or fear that they aren’t protecting their family’s photos. Our job is to provide high-quality, customized photo organization for print and digital photos and videos so that clients feel confident that their family’s memories are preserved.
We provide a wide variety of services, including print photo organization, digitizing of print photos, slides, negatives, and video tapes, gathering and organization of digital photos, creation of photo books, monthly digital photo library maintenance, and personal photo coaching for the DIY client who wants expert advice. While we are located in Fort Worth, Texas, we serve clients across the country and worldwide.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
My number one referral source is my clients, past and present. Happy clients lead to generous referrals. I have found that referrals that come from my clients are often my ideal clients, and we are often a very good fit for each other.
How did you build your audience on social media?
From the very beginning of my business in 2010, I established a social media presence. I knew that it was essential to be seen and to provide quality content for my followers. This has helped me establish myself as an expert in the field of photo organizing. Being seen as an expert adds to the know-like-trust factor and makes potential clients think of me when they are ready to tackle their family’s photo collection.
My advice would be to figure out where your ideal client hangs out on social media and focus your initial efforts there. Be consistent in posting, be authentic, and be willing to share personal information. In a business as personal as mine, it is crucial that followers and clients feel like they know me and trust me.
