Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anastasia Troianovych. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Anastasia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear your thoughts about family businesses.
I’ve been in the USA for almost 10 years without my family, and I realize how much I miss them. I would love to have a family business someday because I think it’s a great way to keep everyone happy, connected, and working together. It would give us a shared purpose, and I could show my kids how important it is to balance family and work in a meaningful way.
Of course, there might be challenges, like separating personal feelings from business decisions and making sure everyone knows their roles. But I love the idea of having something that brings us closer, and I’d love for my children to be a part of it one day. It’s a way to pass down values and show them how to work hard while supporting each other.
I also hope to share not just a business, but hobbies and passions with my kids. Growing up, I didn’t have that experience with my parents, and it’s something I’ve always wanted. Being able to bond over shared interests would make family life so much richer, and it’s the kind of connection I’d love to create for the future.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a former teacher who took a break from my career when my son Luka was born. My husband and I agreed I would stay home with him until he starts Pre-K, but after becoming a mom, I realized I wanted to achieve something more—something that would make my son proud of me one day. While I love being with him, I also want to fulfill myself in other ways.
At first, I started a moms’ club, which I was really good at, but I soon realized I needed to create some separation and not always be “just mama.” That’s when I began emailing brands, promoting Luka as a model for their ads, thinking I could at least save money on his clothes! From there, I discovered UGC (User Generated Content) and realized I could be a part of that world, too.
I started creating UGC just three months ago, and I’ve already fallen in love with it. I focus on fun, family-oriented content, hoping it leads to even bigger opportunities. I’m proud of myself for staying active and pursuing something I love, all while being a full-time mom and a great friend to my son.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is seeing the finished videos and knowing that they’ve made an impact. I especially love hearing feedback from people saying they enjoyed watching what I’ve created—it’s such a great feeling to know my content resonated with them!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One story that really illustrates my resilience is my immigration journey. Coming to a country where I didn’t know anyone, facing deep depression, and working in low-paying jobs while not even speaking the language was incredibly challenging. But despite all of that, I kept pushing forward, focusing on my goals and aspirations. It wasn’t easy, but I stayed determined to create a better future for myself and my family.
