Hi Anastasia , thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

We’re passionate about curating clean, holistic skincare and wellness experiences that exemplify a lifestyle of love. Love of people, love of self, and love of our Earth. We believe that beauty and wellness should evoke and embody this love, in addition to nourishing our bodies from the inside out.

You might say that peace is our mission. Our artisan products are handcrafted using cruelty-free ingredients, and packaged beautifully and sustainably. Key to each of our selections is this message – all of our products are carefully curated to uplift you, or give you peace when you need it.

The way we see it? The ingredient list needs to match the clean beauty claim. Our brands’ ingredients are safe, and effective. We are committed to sustainable sourcing, accessibility and transparency. We believe you deserve luxurious, natural options for your body. It’s simple, really. Anastasia , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am the founder of Love Peace Organic, a clean beauty and wellness destination.
Beauty and fashion have long inspired me, and landing a job in product development for a major corporate retailer felt amazing. But after welcoming my first daughter in 2012, I experienced a laundry list of health issues. I visited too many doctors, and was given plenty of prescriptions, but no answers! This served as a re-ignition of my passion for holistic solutions. I knew I could be healed naturally, and I dove into researching the ingredients (surprise: toxins!) in my favorite beauty products and foods. This love for finding perfect blends of natural ingredients served me as I embarked on a healing journey that included clean eating and ditching my toxic beauty products.
I discovered that LESS IS MORE.
There shouldn’t be long lists of questionable ingredients on our body cleansers or hair care. And I realized we do have options! But who has time to research all of these things? So I decided to create Love Peace Organic, a one stop shop for clean beauty and wellness products. I have found that the most effective products have fewer ingredients. Less ‘noise’ means more peace, more healing, better health, and a happier, more vibrant you!
Clean beauty products aren’t the easiest to find, especially here in the Midwest. That’s why I’m constantly sourcing new brands and partnerships with passionate, women-owned beauty and wellness brands. Their philosophies align with my mission to provide the cleanest, beautifully formulated, fun holistic beauty + wellness products.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I strive to offer high quality products along with superb customer service.
Transparency is key. I personally use the products I offer, I hand select the brands that are included on my website. I also want to make the shopping experience simple. I aim to ship out orders same day or within 24 hours and offer free shipping in the U.S. for orders over $100. Recently I added next day pick-up at a local juice bar, for customers in the area! I love networking with other local businesses who share the same values.
Creating a community built on trust is important. I personally respond to emails as well as social media messages from customers in a timely manner.
I always ask myself, “How can I offer more value to this order?”. That includes adding samples, a thank you note, eco-friendly packaging, a fun sticker sheet or even a free spa headband to an order! Creating a memorable unboxing experience for my customers is so impoartant! I am grateful for each order that comes through.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Social media is where a majority of customers find my shop.
Instagram and Pinterest have been the biggest source for referrals. Posting regularly on social media, answering messages or responding to comments is important. I also have a blog that people can shop from and learn more about the products that I offer.
Building relationships with influencers in the clean beauty and wellness industry is also so helpful, being part of a community is key.
