We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anastasia Mouzina a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Anastasia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I am an immigrant from Greece. I have lived in the USA only for the last five years. My background is in mental health, NLP, and I have a Bachelor’s in Metaphysical Psychology and women’s empowerment along with interior design, which I have had since I was a kid. Living in a beautiful space as a kid could lift much of my young turbulences, and I felt a sense of belonging and sanctuary.
My beginning as an immigrant was tough. I didn’t know anyone here and had no support. So I started my Interior designing company with a mission. My brand is more than Interior design. It is a lifestyle that we all deserve to have.
The mission is to create a home environment that reflects the essence of Greek culture and lifestyle, infusing it with modern and stylish design elements.
To bring Greek culture’s beauty, warmth, and hospitality into your home through our interior design products and services.
We aim to create inviting, comfortable, and stylish living spaces that reflect the rich history, natural beauty, and vibrant spirit of Greece while also meeting our customers’ modern needs and preferences.
Our designs are inspired but not limited by the distinctive Greek architecture, colors, textures, and patterns and are crafted with attention to detail, quality, and sustainability. We strive to create a unique and memorable experience for our customers that captures the essence of the Greek lifestyle in a mix with their unique vision and inspires them to embrace the sense of belonging and being in their sanctuary in their everyday lives.
Greek lifestyle offers a unique and vibrant way of life that reflects its deep-rooted cultural values. From leisurely meals shared with family and friends to festive celebrations across generations to a strong appreciation for arts, literature, and music, emphasis on community, connection, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
At the bottom of all these lies my vision to create homes with a zest for living, love, and sharing moments.
Homes full of light, air, and dramatic touches of art or accent creations.
Bring back to our homes, connection, coziness, luxury, and simplicity. We are celebrating Mykonos’s luxurious, laid-back lifestyle and the Greek islands. We believe in slowing down, taking a deep breath, and savoring the good life.
Our brand’s designs are visually stunning but also functional and practical, striking the perfect balance between style and substance.
Anastasia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As I said, I was born and raised in Greece, and only in my 50’s I came here to the USA after I manifested my Green card out of thin air. I won the Green Card lottery and brought my family (my husband Antonio and my three boys) here. I was strongly inclined to come to the USA since I was young.
Everybody is asking me why I am here. Greece is so beautiful. And I fully agree. But my Soul needed to expand. And apparently, my family felt the same.
I started doing interior design for friends, family, and my homes ( I changed a lot). At that time, I was a mental health and NLP practitioner.
The only thing I knew was that every time I needed to overcome the difficulties of my life ( I raised my three kids by myself, divorces, etc.) my way among the modalities I was teaching, it was to decorate my home, make it so beautiful that I could nourish myself in it and heal.
And that was the beginning. Today I offer complete interior design services and a line of products that do this.
Create a Haven, a sanctuary, and a space to express yourself if this is your home or workspace.
In my opinion and experience, our homes are an extension of ourselves, and the workspace shouldn’t be JUST functional. Research shows that a beautiful work environment enhances productivity.
My brand’s vision for a better life for everyone brought me to offer products and services for all living areas.
We have everything from window treatments and bedding to fully renovating a house.
We don’t sell products or pieces of furniture. Instead, we help you create your dream. We are not salesmen. We are visionaries: better homes, better families, better communities. Happy people, elevated lifestyle.
My whole life, I wondered how I would contribute to my community and Earth. And I know now that my Greek heritage, the European culture I carry along with my experience in psychology, gives me a unique perspective and advantage in doing what I do.
I know well that our first need as Human beings is to feel safe. And safe in our timeline that we don’t have Lions hunting us down is an environment where we can express and nourish ourselves in the best way. And I know how to create that!
Luxury is one of the components that I offer as Stephen Mitchell said,” You don’t have to live in luxury, but you should live luxuriously.”
I am proud to call myself a self-made woman who leads her life with passion, vision, and mission.
And I want to bring to the attention of everyone that our homes, the environment we live in every day, have a significant role in our happiness and our families.
A HOME is essential for our well-being. And that’s my craft.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Being an immigrant with a brief period here in the USA, I had no people to help me, refer me, or even teach me how to do business here in the USA.
I am sure you are not aware, but coming from Greece is as I came from another planet. Things there work differently.
I had to learn everything from zero. And even more so, I had to unlearn a lot of things. So I cannot say I fully understand everything about this country yet, but I am still learning. Everyday.
My boys always ask me where I find the courage to do everything I do and always learn new things.
But this is who I am. So starting a business here was quite a journey and still is. So many times, I thought of giving up. No clients, a lot of spending into the learning process, trying to find an identity in this place and bring my gifts was a challenge.
But my vision and mission always kept me on the path. The night I was giving up and the morning starting again with a new passion.
On this journey, I found so many new friends and people willing to help and guide me, and I appreciate each of them.
My life enhanced and brought me so many things!
My resilience is paying off, and finally, I can see that having a vision and a clear mission is the oil that keeps the machine going.
If your purpose includes the well-being of others, then it will keep you going.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had to unlearn a lot! Indeed a financial lesson. In Greece, we operate differently financially and are not really money oriented.
We love a good life, but we have it even with less, and it is a lot of fun. But If you decide to make money and break generational patterns, you must consider learning New lessons.
Fun is nice, but some level of security is needed. So coming here, I had to face myself and my beliefs about money at every turn.
I discovered that I had unresolved money trauma and had to work on myself to keep my business up and running.
And I you don’t know what money trauma is, I assure you it is very real.
Except for the inner work, I took financial lessons to understand what to do with my company.
I had to unlearn the easy come -easy-going mentality I had about money and start wondering how to invest.
And that was a challenging unlearning and learning process for me.
