The journey to my first official client was a moment I’ll never forget. It all started at a networking event — a room full of amazing professionals, and there I was, sharing my passion for empowering women through personal style. I met someone who seemed genuinely intrigued by what I do, but it wasn’t an instant yes.

I followed up after the event and invited her to a complimentary consultation. My journey into the world of styling began with a deep passion for fashion and empowerment — I realized early on that what we wear isn’t just about looking good; it’s about how we feel, how we show up in the world, and the impact we make in our personal and professional lives.

I officially stepped into the industry to serve those who may feel unsure of their style, struggle with insecurities, or want to intentionally present themselves in a way that aligns with their goals and values. My services include personalized style consultations, body shape analysis, wardrobe revamps, virtual styling, and signature packages designed to elevate confidence while creating a cohesive, empowering look for any occasion. For men, I help them build a polished, versatile wardrobe they can feel proud of — one piece at a time.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the tendency to shrink back — to dim my light or hold myself smaller than I am in order to make others feel comfortable. Early in my journey, I often found myself stepping cautiously around people who didn’t share my vision or weren’t moving in the same direction as me. I thought that by holding back, I was being considerate or “safe.”

Over time, I realized that shrinking back wasn’t helping anyone — not me, and not the people around me. I learned that by confidently stepping into my purpose, by owning my space and my gifts, I could actually inspire others, even those who felt insecure, to believe in themselves. My mission became about showing up fully, so others could see what’s possible when you embrace your worth and don’t settle for less than God designed you to be.

This lesson has transformed how I lead, how I work with clients, and even how I live daily. It’s a reminder that empowerment isn’t just about personal success — it’s about encouraging others to step into theirs as well.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

What helped me build my reputation within my market is consistency — showing up, serving, and always going above and beyond for my clients. From the very beginning, I made it a priority to not just meet expectations, but to exceed them. Every client interaction is an opportunity to serve with excellence, integrity, and care.
