Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anai Singer. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

ANAI, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Art has always been close to my heart. I grew up surrounded by art albums. I looked at their pages with passion.As a two-year-old girl I was already painting dolls where each one had a different dress designed.Over time I sewed clothes for them , knitted entire collections.My mom already had a feeling that I would became a fashion designer.Painting accompanied me every day. I devoted every free moment to it.I loved going to the Children’s Theater to see performances where after each one there was a competition for a favorite scene.I always took part in them and won the main prizes.Every year the love for art grew stronger and stronger, creativity had no end.When the time came to choose my studies, I knew it would be the Academy of Fine Arts. It was a very prestigious school. It was very difficult to get into, and each year they accepted only a few people. When I got there it was one of my happiest days of my life. The dream became reality. The tears of happiness were endless.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I grew up in Poland in a country with rich traditions and beautiful culture. It’s influence has always affected my art; years ago I was absorbed by landscapes painted in the open air. Polish meadows have magic in them, their color, light and diversity make unforgettable paintings on canvas. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts, I started a new chapter in my life. I flew to the United States, where my love was, whom I had known since childhood and whom I now call my husband. My beginnings in a foreign country were not easy, especially since I left a promising career as a fashion designer in Poland. However, after spending some time in America , I started to act again, catching wind in my sails. I took part in fashion shows and designed for famous people. I didn’t stop painting. Where our beloved children were born they inspired me so much that I started designing clothes for them, focusing mainly on denim jackets, each one was a unique, single piece. I dyed ,painted, decorated. Oh, what a joy it was… That’s how my company was born, dressing children in stylish clothes. My love for art is so great that I find fulfillment in its various areas. I love my time at the studio where I am constantly bringing heartfelt ideas to the canvas. I paint and sculpt. I experiment , I experience. The peak of my work are exhibitions in leading art galleries in America and Europe and the joy of collectors all over the world in owning my art works is everything to me.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I always say that I wouldn’t trade my talent for any other. It is a great joy for me, fulfillment and motivation to act. The greatest satisfaction from doing my profession as an artist is the joy of collectors who, even after a long time of owning my works ,write to me how much joy my art gives them.This drives me even more. I am grateful with all my heart that I can do what I love.
