Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anahi Arellanes . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Anahi, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

In June of next year I will celebrate 20 years in the media. I started in Minneapolis Minnesota in 2003 and since then the road has not been easy. I worked hard and knocked on many doors and it was in 2019 when I launched my magazine here in Atlanta. a completely entertainment magazine with which, in addition to publishing everything about entertainment and shows, I have also created great events here in Atlanta where I recognize the work of great personalities of our Latin community

Anahi, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started in the media almost 20 years ago and I have focused a lot on supporting our Latin entertainment, highlighting the work of our television personalities and artists from our Latin community and at the same time I have focused on being able to bring the world of entertainment together with our community I believe that it is important to support the talent of our people and that is why I created awards to highlight the work of various people

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I have learned that nothing is impossible, that when you want it can be done with focus and dedication, everything can be achieved, we in Zona VIP Magazine have been taken into account as a medium in large events at a national level, important events such as the Latin Grammys, Lo Nuestro Award, among many others.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

yes my goal with the zona vip magazine is that Atlanta is talked about everywhere because of our good entertainment that people also know our city and that there are many Latinos working hard and doing great things
