We recently connected with Ana & Yonny Umpierrez and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana & Yonny, thanks for joining us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
Grazing tables are the biggest trend we are seeing right now in our industry.
A Grazing table offers a luxury feel to any event, it can help to raise the atmosphere of your gathering, adding that extra bit of luxury.
The artfully lay out spread of different fresh foods, the concept of mingling with others over drinks, the elegant dining and the visual gastronomical feast made us immediately dive into the art of putting grazing tables together as an additional service to our catering business located in Greenville, SC.
Our clients want to be on trend when organizing their events, they want to be outstanding hostesses by offering their guests nothing less than the best, and a grazing table is a great opportunity to do so.
The concept of grazing tables has been around for centuries, with different cultures around the world having their own versions of this type of food spread.
At Greenville Gourmet Catering we add our own touch of art, the way we arrange the different food types is what make us stand out of the crowd.
Ana & Yonny, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Chef Yonny is a skilled and experienced chef with over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. Chef Yonny has worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in southeast Florida, honing his craft and perfecting his skills in the kitchen.
He graduated from culinary school at the top of his class and has since gone on to work as a head chef at several renowned restaurants in Miami, Florida. His passion for cooking is evident in every dish he creates, and he is known for his ability to blend traditional and modern flavors to create unique culinary experiences.
We now own Greenville Gourmet Catering, where we create customized menus based on our client’s preferences, dietary restrictions and event theme, ensuring a diverse and delicious selection of dishes that are flavorful leaving a lasting impression on their guests.
We also provide professional staff who are trained in hospitality, ensuring that guests receive attentive and efficient service throughout the event.
We help our customers focus on event details that require more of their attention by handling logistical aspects such as procuring ingredients, managing food stations and handling cleanup of these areas.
We design and create food displays and presentations that align with the event’s theme or concept, enhancing the overall ambiance and guest experience.
We are proud of the relationship we create with our clients; we know that to help them make their event a memorable experience we need to understand what they want and how they feel when they make those choices.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Clients that have already hired our services have been definitely our best source of new clients through positive word of mouth referrals, that’s why our main goal is to reach 100% client satisfaction with our service.
We understand our clients put their trust in us to deliver what we promise, and when that goal is achieved, they don’t hesitate in recommending us to their friends and families.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
We started building our social media audience from zero. We bought a photography light kit and started creating content of our products. Our advice for those who are just starting is keep up posting and creating content, people can see more of your product or service before buying from you. At the beginning is all expenses but soon you’ll realize that in reality those expenses are inversions, and you’ll start seeing the results.
