We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ana-Maria Georgieva. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ana-Maria below.
Ana-Maria, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
My name is Ana-Maria…The founder of Luna Voda Coaching (literally, Moon Water in my native language, translated as Moon Water, in my native language Luna Voda, which symbolizes the nurturing element of water in a synergetic balance with the moon’s divine feminine nature.
I was born and raised in Bulgaria.
I started dancing when I was five, which created my lifetime passion for creative self-expression and movement and later developed into a career pursuit in teaching dance-fitness, meditation, and healthy living.
Like many high-achievers who have experienced childhood trauma, I also used to struggle with a lot of issues triggered by my strained relationship with my biological dad; from body image dysmorphia to commitment issues and chronic self-doubt and self-criticism that were crippling my ability to perceive myself as worthy of love and success.
This persistent lack of self-approval (that started at age 14…) not only prevented me from feeling confident in myself, despite my academic achievements or physical attributes, but it also interfered with my physical health…leading to hormonal issues, adrenal fatigue, perpetual negative self-talk, comparison, and a complete alienation from my body…for years!
During this dark period of my life, I felt empty; I felt unlovable, I felt fatigued, lost, hideous, and incapable of coping with my traumas….until one day, at age 22, I decided that enough is enough.
I HAD to do something…
In my last year in college, I conducted a comprehensive research (approved by The Human Subjects in Seattle, Wa) on the relationship between our body language and our internal self-talk and cultural upbringing.
I was fortunate to present my findings at the annual Research Symposium hosted by the University of Washington.
During this period (2016-2019), I previewed nearly a thousand books on movement therapy, neuroscience, personal development, and behavioral psychology.
Driven by these interests, I later got certified in health and life coaching with mastery in NLP transformational coaching and found my company Luna Voda Coaching (literally, moon water in my native language).
I chose this name because it symbolizes the nurturing element of water in a synergetic balance with the moon’s divine feminine nature.nd this is what my coaching is all about: empowering people from all genders and spiritual beliefs to transform themselves, re-connect to their innate wisdom and rebuild their confidence…by gradually transforming and improving every other area in their lives.
My life purpose is to help people going through similar issues as I was, to feel seen, supported, and encouraged – and to show them how to reclaim their power, rebuild their confidence, and create permanent changes in their self-perception.
You, too, can cultivate the confidence to create your next level of inner fulfillment and everlasting love!
By integrating all parts of yourself, and forgiving yourself for any past mistakes or self-abuse, you become whole and centered in your true purpose and most authentic self – the way you deserve! :)
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
ust ten years ago, I was on the edge of a complete breakdown.
Today, I am healthy, happy, confident and free from past addictions and negative self-talk. I was also able to overcome my commitment phobia and create space for romantic love & partnership in my personal life.
Not only did I heal from my past but I was able to transfer the skills I`d acquired in this process of personal development and soul-searching and compile them into a straightforward blueprint for transformation that I now customize for the individual goals of my clients.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Like many other entrepeneeurs, 2022 presented a valuable opportunity to start scaling our businesses and prevent financial loss due to the expected recession.
Even though I come from a very modest upbringing, and started my business from scratch, I have always believed that the most efficient way to create financial freedom is to learn how to trade my skills for a higher compensation instead of trading time for money like many 9-5pm employee do and rarely get past 6 figures per year.
Below are the 5 moves I had to take to pivot my business and elevate my offer:
1. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 on 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 you want, 𝘄𝗵𝘆 you want it, and 𝗵𝗼𝘄 to get it
2. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 to help you stay 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 and 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 on your priority goals
3. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 to thrive 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 of economic swings or upcoming recession
4. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 how to 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 your 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 and discover your X-Factor
5. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 around your 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 and your hidden subconscious blocks
To get to your next level, you must actually work LESS & accomplish more by leveraging your talents and focusing on scaling VS time-wasting
Semantically, the word leverage is the act of increasing results without putting more effort
As John Carmack said, “Focus is a matter of deciding what things you’re not going to do.”
Every time you say YES to someone or something, you have to say NO to something else (and vice versa)
Similar to how your brain can’t have two opposing thoughts or emotions at the same time, you can’t maintain chaos and productivity at the same time — you have to choose your dominant state and embrace it.
The mindset shift I adopted, that helped me evolve my offerings and my business model, is that my self-worth is independent of my net-worth.
The more value I bring to my clients, the more value they receive, and the more valuable my programs begin, which positively impacted the revenue model of my company and the funds we can now re-invest towards helping people in need and funding our pro-bono work.
Any advice for managing a team?
After six figures – it is not what we know anymore; it`s who we know.
Building a Dream Team is the fastest way forward if we want to maintain a work/life balance as entrepreneurs and stay in our zone of genius while delegating tasks to others.
My advice to everyone who wants to have a team of collaborators who have your back and are emotionally involved in this work is to master compassionate communication while setting clear expectations around deadlines, quality of production, and overall results.
In addition to knowing how to communicate openly with your team and helping them feel Seen, Supported and Valued, I find it very helpful to schedule monthly meetings with them to get to know them and involve them in the mission of your business.
When your team members feel like they are a part of something bigger, they tend to produce better results and feel proud of their contribution to the success of the business.
