We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ana Malachowski a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Ana, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you take vacations? Why or why not?

Education vacations are my comfort. Very hard for me to take time off when so much needs to be done. If I can accomplish learning something and get credit where needed in my credentials to farther my career

Let’s talk M&A – we’d love to hear your about your experience with buying businesses.

I have recently purchased the World Massage Festival. This business has been running for 18 years already. This business is an event, production business where we put on events to promote other continuing education providers and their classes and have fun doing it. We also have karaoke and color power party a Hall of Fame where we honor other therapists in the field each year. Plus a keynote speaker and classes for you to take and get the education you need and the CEs for your renewal.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

My business partner is amazing. I met her over ten or so years ago. We were running the admin side of educational events. I “trained” her to do things she knew how to do better and faster. She is the first women in my life to have the same business aspects and motivates herself and has an amazing work ethic all with a smile – not to mention she laughs kinda like me and we are both loud lol! Now she is stuck with me forever!
