Alright, Ana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Almost every entrepreneur we know has considered donating a portion of their sales to an organization or cause – how did you make the decision of whether to donate? We’d love to hear the backstory if you’re open to sharing the details.

We proudly support Sunshine Beagles, an organization dedicated to rescuing and supporting beagles in South Florida. We chose this cause because beagles, being a working breed, are naturally energetic and require ample exercise. Additionally, our deep passion for animal welfare drives us to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these wonderful dogs.

Our journey with Sunshine Beagles began at a local dog event where I asked a coordinator to introduce me to one of the rescue directors. That’s when I met Natasha, a wonderful person who does so much for these dogs. She welcomed me into her community, and now we get together once a week to run all the beagles up for adoption. We also make videos to promote their adoption and help them burn off some energy.

By supporting Sunshine Beagles, we aim to help smaller rescue organizations that often need more support than larger shelters. Our goal is to make a positive impact and contribute to a better future for these dogs, ensuring we can continue to help more in need.

Absolutely! My name is Ana Intriago, and I am one of the proud owners of Paws Around the World Services (P.A.W.S), a mobile dog gym that revolutionizes pet fitness right at your doorstep. My journey into this business stemmed from my experience as a dog trainer here in Florida. Summers in our state can be brutal, and I often found my clients struggling to exercise their pups safely in the scorching heat. Meanwhile, my own border collies were itching for activity despite the weather limitations. Faced with this challenge, I stumbled upon a similar business concept thriving in Arizona.

Inspired by the idea and urged on by my supportive husband and family, I embarked on the journey of bringing this innovative solution to Miami. We poured our hearts and resources into crafting Paws Around the World Services, making it a true labor of love and a family endeavor. From securing the perfect van, affectionately named Van-essa, to decking it out with top-notch equipment and even selling my own car for finishing touches, every step was a testament to our dedication.

At P.A.W.S, we offer a range of services aimed at keeping your furry friends not only active but thoroughly entertained. Our personalized exercise sessions cater to each dog’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the perfect workout regardless of the Florida weather. From addressing behavioral issues to helping our canine clients shed those extra cookie pounds, we’re here to make sure every pup reaches their peak health and happiness.

One of the things I am most proud of is our partnership with Sunshine Beagles, a local rescue organization dedicated to helping beagles in need. Certainly! Here’s a refined version of your story:

Growing up in Venezuela during Chavez’s presidency, I experienced firsthand the tumultuous political climate. Tragically, I lost my father at a young age due to the challenging circumstances. Determined to seek a better life, I began making plans to relocate to Spain to live with my uncle. However, fate had other plans when I crossed paths with my now-husband, who was moving back to Miami.

Embracing the opportunity for a new beginning, I took a leap of faith and said yes to joining my husband in Miami. Little did I anticipate the profound impact this decision would have on my life. Transitioning from a large, close-knit family to a smaller one brought unexpected challenges. Navigating the complex paperwork for immigration while my husband sought stable employment was a lengthy process, taking us three years to complete.

During this time, I faced the daunting task of learning English on my own and adjusting to a new way of life. Being separated from my family for years took a toll on my mental well-being. However, I found solace and support in my husband’s family and gradually built a network of friends and loved ones in Miami.

Today, our celebrations are filled with over 40 cherished family members and friends, a testament to the love and community we’ve cultivated. While the journey had its hardships, I am grateful for the resilience it instilled in me and the opportunity to build a fulfilling life surrounded by those I hold dear.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

Certainly! My business partner is none other than my wonderful husband, David Ramos. Our story began in Venezuela when I was just 15 years old. It all started when I was giving away some puppies, and David’s mom came to my house to adopt one. Little did I know, his mom and my family had been friends for years.

After some time, I asked if I could visit to check on the puppy, and that’s when I met David. We hit it off instantly and began dating. From that day forward, we’ve been inseparable. Fast forward to 2011 when we tied the knot right here in Miami. Just a few weeks ago, we joyously celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.

Our journey together, from puppy love to building a successful business partnership, has been nothing short of incredible. David’s unwavering support, love, and partnership have been the foundation of our personal and professional success. I am grateful every day to have him by my side as not only my husband but also my trusted business partner.
