We were lucky to catch up with Ana D’ Escrivan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ana, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
“We care about you” is our business motto at Complete Nutrition Solutions LLC. We belive that our service and attention should be centered around the patients health and nutrition needs while also understanding the patients journey overall. This includes environment, personal, medical, and overall. We use a individualized eco-map that helps identify any factors that may influence and impact our patients health. We are a startup program with a mission to serve patients individually with our direct attention and care. We will go over and beyond to also support patients health journey as we are able to.
For instance, one example, is that we understand some of our elderly patients might go to daycare centers for part of the day or have providers that assist them with cooking and medication compliance. We work with them to make sure that they understand and are well trained to support our patients health and nutrition needs. We will guide them and provide them the tools they need to provide this support. We want to try everything we can to ensure the patient receive the ultimate value of care despite their home and financial circumstances.

Ana, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

In 2021, through COVID, I realized that I wanted to be courageous and take the risk of starting up my own nutrition program. An opportunity where I would be able to serve patients with my mission and also my heart. It was then that I decided to pursue this new career. We are a female owned, local, latina business serving our Hispanic/Latino community. We offer bilingual services and offer many specialties in care for nutrition. From Diabetes, Eating Disorders, Renal care, Weight Management, Pediatric care, Family support and more! Always keeping culture and our traditions alive while embracing health and quality of life!

Have you ever had to pivot?
Yes, in 2021 when I decided that I wanted to startup our own nutrition program I had to take a pivot in my career. It would be risk worth taking! While, it would require me leaving two wonderful companies I knew that I had to take that risk to pursue my dream of owning my own business. So I did just that. I decided to take it on and started little by little learning about the industry, with over 22+ years of experience I knew it would be successful.
With only 1 year under our belt, we know have 6 Registered Dietitians in our team with a admin team and additional support. While we are still learning and growing I know that the biggest lesson that I learned from starting a locally owned Latina nutrition business, is believe in yourself and just do it. You only fail not trying.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy in growing my clientele is relationship building, getting in the community and sharing with them who you are and what you have to offer. This has been the most valuable time investment and return for our nutrition program.
