As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Amycel; yes, I know I have an exotic name; the definition of my name means to love, so that’s what I try to spread. I thank God and my parents, America and Celso, who brought me to this country to be a successful entrepreneur. I’ve always had my parents’ support, especially my mother. She has been my biggest cheerleader. Everything I’ve learned started from her. First, my primary profession is being a mother, which has helped me become a better person for my career. If I had to define myself with one word, it would be PASSION: a passion for my family and love for my business. I strive for perfection And consistency so I can provide great customer service. I’ve learned from being a business owner that nothing good comes without sacrifice. However, you must be self-motivated and disciplined and work out your competition. From an early age, I’ve always loved the art of beauty, which I inherited from my mother instead, if it was eyebrows, designer makeup, or come-done extraction, among other things. Even though I had the passion and desire, I only perfected my craft once I went to college in America to get my license. I migrated from Venezuela and started from scratch. I had to learn the language and balance being a full-time mom while perfecting the art of beauty.
I realized to be a successful entrepreneur; you need faith and determination to accomplish your goals. Ever Since then, I began to generate multiple clients and repeat business. I started with aesthetics in the Florida mall and perfected eyelashes and permanent makeup. The blessing in disguise started during the pandemic; I had to reinvent my brand. A new chapter began as an independent aesthetician, with love and desire to continue serving my clients to fulfill their needs. I did house calls so my clients stayed beautiful during the ugly pandemic. I even turned my living room into a studio to fulfill their needs. No matter the situation, I still had loyal customers who only wanted my services. So I had to adjust and figure out how to keep pampering my clients. Today we continue to grow as we count our blessings; we’re constantly innovating to new market trends to offer you the best service.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As an entrepreneur, one of the biggest challenges has been being an immigrant, starting all over, going back to school, and learning a new language.
Please tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others.
I highly focus on developing procedures to enhance your natural beauty, such as Permanent makeup, Eyebrows design, Eyelash extensions, and anti-aging skin treatments.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like the most about the beauty industry, and especially what I do, is my client’s gratification, their big smiles once they look themselves in the mirror, feeling themselves prettier.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Word of mouth by giving the best out of my team and my self in every service
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
the love and passion that I showed in every appointment
