Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amy Reynolds. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?
A neighbor would talk to me about her brother-in-law who came to live with them because he was homeless. He had gone through a difficult separation and through emotional consequences had ended up on the street.
He was not contributing to the household, he was laying in bed for 12+ hours a day and would never leave the home.
I offered for him to come to my seven week Grief Recovery Method™ series in The Woodlands.
After five meetings, I saw him one morning leaving the house to go on his very first walk after a year of not taking more than a few steps onto the driveway.
This warmed my heart because I know how powerful this process is. I recommend it to EVERYONE. It’s not just about death. Not by a long shot!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I was born in the diverse city of Houston, Texas, but at the tender age of 2 we moved to the Rocky Mountains and then settled in the rolling, gorgeous green hills of SW Pennsylvania.
During my childhood I was subjected to two parents who were mentally ill. One was an abuser and the other was a textbook enabler. It was this dysfunctional upbringing that, later in life, forced me to either heal, change and grow or die.
I was fortunate to achieve a BS in Human Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Houston. And directly after I choose to enter the United States Peace Corps and successfully served for 27 months overseas living without electricity or running water. This experience was pivotal for my healing as it demonstrated to me how fortunate I am to live in the USA.
I struggled with many STERBS–short term energy release behaviors–with which I attempted to manage the pain and sadness I learned as a child.
My journey to healing led me to learn from many teachers and masters. In addition to my degree and passion for Nutriton, I began to understand that sickness, disease, chronic pain and suffering begin in the realm of the mind.
When I learned that between the ages of 2-8 years old about 95% of our subconscious beliefs are programmed into us, I really understood that the dysfunctions that I felt as an adult weren’t my true self. They were literal programs that were loaded onto me by two people who were completely lost as well.
I always start a person’s healing journey with a deep dive into their food and nutrition/supplements, but I also offer two modalities that achieve total transformation. PSYCH-K™ and Grief Recovery Method™.
PSYCH-K™ quickly and efficiently identifies and reprograms dysfunctional subconscious beliefs that are identified by the client. It is permission-based. It’s not something that is done TO the client, but a modality where the client discovers their own needs.
The Grief Recovery Method™ is a seven week series where the client receives information and action practices to look at their loss history and ultimately complete a loss relationship. This series is utterly transformational. I’ve had clients tell me that over and over. “Amy, you are transforming me.” And I tell them, “It’s not me, it’s you doing the process, it’s you showing up.”
What sets me apart from other healers is that I work with the client on ALL aspects of their life. I am also a private chef, so if you suffer from Crohn’s or other IBD or auto immune, I can be hired to cook onsite and manage your diet for how ever long is needed to get the client in remission or independently caring for their own food needs.
The last offering my company, UP Natural Products LLC incudes is a 100% botanical, chemical free, water free and filler free, skin and body care: biome™ (www.biomesupercell.com)
I am like a cleaner! Together we clean up your mind, your food, your home and your skin care! The result is a shiny new you like you were meant to be! The true you.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Yes, I was in business with a family member. Together we had created a real once in a lifetime opportunity for both of us. We were finally successful and just had to manage the business for a few more years to sell for our life’s retirement.
Upon returning home after a two week sponsorship trip to a sports event, I found I was locked out of the business-everything taken away from me. I had put all my own money and time into the business and didn’t have funds to execute a lawsuit.
The actions taken by this person devastated the family.
It took a long time for me to process the loss. I felt angry, outraged and shocked.
But over the years I leaned on the teachings I had committed myself to and I learned a lot about processing anger, grief recovery and transforming out of the victim paradigm.
I now have a successful business. I am taking care of myself and have family that loves and supports me. I no longer have the strong energy when I think of this person and I authentically hope she has found peace. That is my desire.
It was the commitment to the teachings that I now offer that saved me. I’m very grateful to my teachers.
It’s very important for all of us to have tools we can utilize when life brings grief. It will, and that’s OK, but we don’t have to let it take us down. We can meet it with resiliency because the tools work and in the end the grief ends up being a mine of gold.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
In my field, that of personal transformation, beyond training and knowledge is the ability and willingness to truly connect with the client and understand that we are all the same.
I seek out information and teachers from all walks of life and from all viewpoints. Having done this for more than 40 years I am able to “see” truth.
Going beyond the mainstream programming can be scary for some practitioners, but I believe it is crucial. Learning from indigenous cultures, plant medicine, herbology and other genres helps create a well-rounded perspective. I’ve never been afraid to listen to anyone talk about healing. I believe this translates to the client and they feel safe and ensured that they are in good hands.
