We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amy Aranyosi a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Amy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to tell stories of bands/musicians that are authentic and raw.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
20+ years as a professional photographer. Behind the scenes photographs to share the stories of bands and musicians is very rewarding. Being a band historian gives me endless opportunity to meet so many types of musicians and others in the music industry. It also opens up opportunity to foster relationships within the industry that lead to other types of creatives projects like producing or consulting when it comes to recordings. I personally utilize Dylan Thomas Studio to shoot musicians and to work on my own creative projects.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I had figured out earlier how to foster relationships within the music industry and focused on photographying musicians earlier rather then other subjects I wasn’t as passionate about.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What built my reputation is that I am transparent, raw and real with my clients.
