Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amore’ Dear. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Amore’, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I knew I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally was when I picked up the viola. Playing for over ten years wasn’t just about mastering an instrument—it was my introduction to the world of storytelling through sound. The rich tones of Soul, Blues, and R&B inspired me, and I discovered how music could evoke emotions and connect people.
That love for the arts naturally encouraged my acting skills. Whether on stage or in front of the camera, I found a similar thrill in embodying characters and bringing stories to life. Each performance became a chance to merge my love for storytelling with the challenge of stepping into someone else’s shoes.
Fast forward to my work with Renaissance Certified, where I curated environments for people to authentically enjoy incredible music. Being in that creative space reminded me how much I love crafting moments that resonate. From appearing in music videos with artists like Post Malone and Blake Shelton to hosting intimate events like Certified Lounge, I’ve embraced every opportunity to express myself and connect with audiences.
This journey has been about discovering not just my craft but also myself—and I know there are so many more stories I’m meant to tell.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Amore’ Dear—an actress dedicated to telling powerful stories and bringing characters to life with depth and authenticity. My path into acting wasn’t traditional, but it was inevitable. I’ve always been drawn to the magic of storytelling and the ability of film to evoke emotion, start conversations, and connect us through shared experiences. That passion eventually led me to pursue acting professionally, and every step has been a rewarding challenge.
I’m currently focused on expanding my presence in the film industry, with two exciting feature films set to stream on Tubi in 2025 and 2026. In “Eye of the Catfish” (directed by Kaitlyn Williams and produced by Timmons Productions) and “ENDURE” (directed by Artisha Ledford and produced by Actin Up Media), I’ve had the opportunity to step into complex roles that challenge me as an artist. Each project has allowed me to explore new emotional depths, refine my craft, and collaborate with incredibly talented teams.
Beyond film, I recently made a television appearance on FOX’s “Name That Tune,” which was an exciting opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and showcase my personality on a national platform. Fox even offered me an exclusive interview after the gameshow was filmed to learn more about my experience during the show. I’m very committed to continuous learning and have invested in my craft through formal training. I’ve studied at Fourth Wall Studio and expanded my knowledge through Masterclass courses taught by industry icons like Issa Rae and Samuel L. Jackson. These experiences have deepened my understanding of character development, storytelling, and the nuances of performance.
What sets me apart as an actress is my commitment to authenticity and emotional honesty in every performance. I believe every character has a unique story to tell, and I approach each role with a sense of curiosity and dedication to portraying their truth. My ability to tap into real emotions, paired with a strong work ethic and adaptability, allows me to bring a fresh and grounded perspective to every project.
More than anything, I want people to know that my journey is about more than just being in front of the camera. It’s about creating moments that resonate with people long after the credits roll. I’m committed to pushing my boundaries, taking on meaningful projects, and continuing to evolve as an actress. There’s so much more to come, and I’m just getting started.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve had to unlearn is the fear of failure. For a long time, I believed that mistakes or setbacks were signs that I wasn’t good enough. That fear was the main reason I delayed pursuing my acting career—it held me back from taking the first step. But over time, I realized that failure isn’t the opposite of success—it’s a crucial part of the journey.
Every time I’ve stumbled, I’ve discovered new layers of strength and resilience within myself. Whether it’s facing rejection in auditions or stepping into unfamiliar roles, each experience has taught me to trust the process and embrace growth. Since overcoming that fear and fully committing to my dreams, the progress I’ve made in just over two years has been greater than I could’ve imagined. Each failure has fueled me to push harder, take bigger risks, and believe in my ability to succeed. Letting go of the fear of failure has empowered me to take bold risks and fully commit to my dreams, knowing that every challenge is shaping me into the artist—and person—I’m meant to be.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Several books have significantly shaped my approach to both acting and my entrepreneurial mindset. When it comes to honing my craft as an actress, I’ve found invaluable guidance in Sanford Meisner on Acting by Sanford Meisner and Dennis Longwell, Audition by Michael Shurtleff, and How to Get the Part Without Falling Apart by Margie Haber. These books have helped me refine my technique, prepare for auditions, and embrace the emotional depth required to bring characters to life.
Beyond acting, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie has had a profound impact on how I navigate professional relationships and communication. Its timeless principles have helped me build meaningful connections and maintain authenticity in every interaction.
For creative inspiration and personal reflection, I often turn to Maya Angelou’s Complete Poetry and The Rose That Grew from Concrete by Tupac Shakur. Both collections remind me of the power of resilience, self-expression, and the beauty of telling authentic stories. These works not only fuel my creativity but also encourage me to stay true to my voice and vision.
