We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful AMONA Adams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with AMONA below.
Alright, AMONA thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
It all started with The Angels Talk Show—a vision God gave me during a season of deep emotional pain and spiritual searching. I was going through my own healing journey and needed a safe space to process grief, trauma, and faith. The show started as a way to speak life over others while speaking healing into myself. I didn’t have a team, a budget, or a roadmap—just a message, a phone, and a heart full of obedience.
After launching the talk show on social media, women began reaching out privately, saying things like “You said what I couldn’t say,” or “I didn’t even realize I needed this.” That’s when it hit me—this wasn’t just a talk show. It was a movement.
From there, the seed of PrettyGirlsHeal2 was planted. I started designing healing tools I had personally used—affirmation cards, devotionals, journal prompts—and sharing them with others. I built a community, then a nonprofit. I hosted my first Healing Walk, launched a mentoring program, and created resources for women healing from grief, heartbreak, soul ties, and spiritual burnout.
The process wasn’t linear. I had to teach myself how to design, register a nonprofit, plan events, and build trust with a community. But everything I needed came from one yes—yes to starting with what I had. The Angels Talk Show was the mic. PrettyGirlsHeal2 became the message. And the movement? That’s still unfolding, one healed woman at a time.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Amona, and I’m the founder of PrettyGirlsHeal2 and host of The Angels Talk Show. I created this movement from a place of personal healing. After experiencing grief, emotional trauma, and spiritual burnout, I felt God calling me to not just heal—but help others do the same. What started as a few Instagram videos of encouragement became a full nonprofit, mentorship community, and healing brand.
At PrettyGirlsHeal2, we create faith-based healing tools, journals, devotionals, affirmation decks, and guided events that help women heal from the inside out. We host Healing Walks, offer free spiritual resources, and provide soul-care mentorship to help women walk through grief, heartbreak, identity loss, and emotional trauma—with God at the center.
What sets us apart is that we lead with vulnerability, not perfection. Everything I create, from a journal page to a prayer card, has been inspired by my real struggles. This isn’t just ministry—it’s personal. It’s a safe space for women to cry, grow, rest, and rise.
I’m most proud of the way this community has grown from just one woman’s pain into a platform of purpose. PrettyGirlsHeal2 isn’t just a brand—it’s a reminder that healing is holy, sisterhood is powerful, and broken doesn’t mean unworthy.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the idea that asking for help was a sign of weakness. As a woman who’s always been the “strong one,” I wore independence like armor. But when I started building PrettyGirlsHeal2, there were moments I was overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and running on empty—but I still struggled to let people in.
It wasn’t until I nearly burned out that I realized: even healers need healing, and leaders need support. I learned to lean on God, trust my community, and invite others into the mission—not as helpers, but as partners.
Letting go of that pride opened doors I could’ve never walked through alone. Now, asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s wisdom. It’s how I keep this movement going without losing myself in the process.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by showing up as my real, unfiltered self. I didn’t have fancy equipment or a content team—just a phone, a calling, and a desire to speak life into others. It all started with The Angels Talk Show, where I began sharing short videos on healing, faith, and emotional transparency. I wasn’t trying to go viral—I was just trying to be obedient.
As women began messaging me saying “This helped me so much,” or “I didn’t know how much I needed this,” I realized that impact is greater than numbers. I stayed consistent, engaged with my audience, and created content that reflected both my struggles and my healing.
For anyone just starting out, my biggest advice is: start with what you have and lead with heart. Don’t focus on perfection—focus on purpose. Be consistent. Speak to the person you once were. That’s how you build community—not just followers.
