We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amit Benita a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Amit, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
I arrived in a new town back on 2016 and I thought I should go to play in an open mic so I meet musicians, so I went there played a few songs I felt it was quite lame.
I honestly thought I was wasting my time, and then a local Musician approached me and gave me his business card for whatever I need, I barely kept it as I thought to myself : “ I don’t think I’ll ever gonna use it”.
A few days later, I was jamming in a park in Australia, it was epic and people were gathering around me.
Until at some point someone came and offered me a gig.
And then I need to find how I’m gonna amplify myself. How I’m going to connect to the system and I was quite lost with it so I found the business card and call that Musician, he was the kindest human and he took me to buy all of the gear needed.
This has showed me that everything happens for a reason and even when you think there is nothing for you, there could be the biggest moments of our lives.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Amit Benita, I’m a musician, music producer, teacher, and cofounder of Music Flows, which is a conscious online music school do.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I knew, the people aren’t looking for perfection, people are looking for your true expression, and even for your genuine mistakes.
There is nothing else to do, but being ourselves, and the sooner we will unchained our limiting beliefs, the sooner will make the progress.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding thing is that artist have process their emotion experiences, human experience Constantly.
There’s no way out if you want to create better you have to do the inner work and you have to be transparent with yourself, because it’s not, it’s not genuine, and when it’s not genuine, the crowd will fill it
