Hi Amie, thanks for joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

I’m Amie, an award-winning published photographer with a B.A in Fine Arts: Photography and the owner of Beloved Bliss Studios. Over the past ten years, I’ve developed my style, my love, & my passion for lifestyle photography.

The name Beloved Bliss is derived from my name, Amie, meaning beloved, joined with the many blissful moments & events we experience throughout our life.

Beloved Bliss Studios was launched in 2014 and focuses on documenting candid moments filled with beautiful light and authentic connections.

My goal as a photographer is to capture families just being themselves- all of their moments, the quiet ones, the loud ones, the messy ones, & everything in-between.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

One of the most rewarding parts of being a professional photographer is documenting all those moments that typically go unnoticed and providing images and artwork that can be passed down to your kids’ kids.

I primarily serve clients throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, but in 2018 I started offering photo sessions throughout the US and most recently internationally. I’ve had the privilege of shooting sessions in incredible locations like Telluride, Colorado, the French Quarter in New Orleans, several national parks including White Sands in New Mexico and Joshua Tree in California, a beachside cliff in San Diego, in front of the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco and this past summer in downtown Lausanne, Switzerland.

Not only do I believe in authentically capturing family’s stories, but I am dedicated to offering a full-service custom portrait experience. This includes picking a great location for my clients, coordinating all the best outfits to wear, having a laid-back session experience, and lastly selecting products to best showcase their favorite images.

As a full-service photographer, I offer digitals, as well as one-of-a-kind heirloom products handpicked and hand crafted from all around the world. I truly believe it is a disservice to my clients to send them home with just a bunch of digital files that will get lost on the cloud, and disappear on fading technology (remember floppy discs?)

Photographs are one of the most important things we have in life; they hold your heritage, & they will be passed down for generations for your children’s children to learn about who you were in the best stages of your life.

I want my clients to go home with museum quality wall art and photo albums that will last 100+ years to properly document their family’s legacy. Photos deserve to shine, and not just on a screen- let this be your reminder to print those photos.
