Amia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?
I was so excited when I sold my first book as an author.
Amia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Amia (Mimi) Brock is a creative and unique little girl who enjoys living a life full of fun and wonder. From the start, her family knew she was talented and special; which is why her parents decided to name her AMIA “A Miracle in Action”. She is a young author and a rising supermodel. She is only 5, but has accomplished a lot for her young age. She is the co-author of several books with her mother, including but not limited to: “Adventures of MiMi and Grandma: A Fun Day at the Park” and “Learning with MiMi”. She has been featured nationally on the Jennifer Hudson Show for her ability and talent as a young model. Amia was interviewed by Channel 7 News for her famous model walk. She has been picked and featured on Local 4 News to be apart of “Rhonda’s Brag Book” for all of her accomplishments and talents. Amia absolutely loves modeling. It is not just her talented walk that makes her stand out but it is her adult-like seriousness once she hits the runway. For her to be only 5, she can hang with the best of them. She just recently recorded her first movie that’s titled Love, After Holidays where she played the daughter of the popular actor Jeremy Meeks. She has been invited to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, and Milan to participate in Fashion shows. As an only child, Amia lives in Michigan with her parents. Amia believes everyone has a purpose. She wants all little girls to know they are beautiful and brave. They have the confidence you need on the inside of you!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding is seeing that my hard work and dedication is paying off! I have been getting the attention and recognition of people locally and nationally!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
It’s my goal to make it to Hollywood and be the next top model. I have a big personality that I believes the world needs to see it! Whether it’s for modeling or acting or both but I am determined I will be successful! Of, course my education is very important to me as well.
