As an introvert who always finds reasons to stay at home, one of the key components I need to create a peaceful and comfortable environment at home is the scent. I desire a fragrance that not only signifies cleanliness but also consists of beautiful notes that positively impact my mood, enhance productivity, and make my home even more inviting and comforting. Having worked from home for over six years and conducting most of my business operations there, I have spent a significant amount of time in my home. I invested in scented candles, sprays, and essential oil diffusers to achieve this ambiance.

One day, during a brunch, I had the opportunity to meet a French perfumer. We discussed business, and then our conversation shifted towards home fragrances. At that moment, inspiration struck me like a bolt of lightning. I thought to myself, ‘Why not invest in something for which I already spend a considerable amount of money? Why not become my own customer? Why not find a way to share my love and passion for fragrances and scents by creating a line of home fragrance products that people would love?’

Thus, we decided to form a partnership, bringing the greatest and most subtle home fragrances inspired by well-known French designer perfumes to the market. Our product line includes fragrance sprays, as well as other . While there are already numerous home fragrance products available on the market, I can confidently say that our line stands out as one of the best you will ever encounter. What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that failure equates to personal inadequacy or incompetence. Society often portrays failure as something negative, leading us to associate it with shame or a lack of capability. However, as I gained more experience and wisdom, I realized that failure is an inevitable part of growth and learning.

I had to unlearn the notion that failure defines my worth as an individual. Instead, I began viewing failure as an opportunity for growth, resilience, and self-improvement. It taught me valuable lessons, helped me identify areas for development, and pushed me to think creatively in finding alternative solutions.

By embracing failure as a natural part of the journey, I freed myself from the fear of making mistakes. I learned to take risks, step outside my comfort zone, and pursue ambitious goals. This shift in mindset allowed me to embrace challenges with a positive outlook, persist through setbacks, and ultimately achieve greater success.

I embrace each day as an opportunity for learning, recognizing the potential lessons and blessings that come from every person I encounter. Success stories from diverse individuals across the world captivate my attention, providing valuable insights into their journeys. Engaging in conversations with people allows me to glean wisdom from their life experiences and business ventures. TED Talks, in particular, offer inspiring and informative talks by entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders, which broaden my perspective and provide me with valuable insights.

Among my favorite books are “Zero to One” by Peter Thiel, “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki, “Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones” by James Clear, “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu, and “Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action” by Simon Sinek. These books have greatly influenced my thinking and philosophy.

However, the most powerful book that I rely on for guidance and inspiration is the Bible. Within its pages, I find the strength to persevere and the determination to pursue my dreams, knowing that God’s wisdom and guidance are constant sources of support in my journey.
