The inspiration for Millie’s Kitchen has roots in my childhood. My grandmother was an incredible cook, and some of my fondest memories are of watching her in the kitchen, creating delicious meals from scratch. Seeing her passion and the joy she brought to others through her cooking planted the seed in me from a young age. Cooking has always been a passion of mine, and over the years, I developed my own recipes and culinary style.After gaining experience in selling plates and catering events, I realized I wanted to bring a more personalized and intimate dining experience to people.

My name is Millie, and I am the founder and head chef of Millie’s Kitchen, a private catering company that specializes in Southern nostalgic cuisine. I decided to establish Millie’s Kitchen to offer a more personalized and intimate dining experience. We provide a range of services, including private dinners, corporate events, and large celebrations. Our approach is highly collaborative; we work closely with our clients to understand their vision, dietary preferences, and any special requests they might have. It was a way to share my passion for food and experiment with different recipes. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and word of mouth quickly spread. People loved the dishes especially my wings and began requesting catering for small gatherings and events.
As demand grew, I realized I had the potential to turn this side hustle into a full-time career. I decided to take the leap and officially launched Millie’s Kitchen as a private catering company.
