Today we’d like to introduce you to Amberleigh Carter.
Hi Amberleigh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out always being curious about the mind-body connection, and the influence of the mind on the body and how the body affects the mind, particularly when it comes to health and exercise motivation. I graduated from Elon University with a degree in Exercise Science and a double minor in Neuroscience and Psychology, which was very reflective of my interests. Originally, my plan was to attend medical school, but my mind for research brought me into the research realm, serving as the Director of a world-renowned Alzheimer’s and Dementia research unit. Conducting studies regarding the impact of diet & exercise on cognition & memory, I was met by research participants asking for my help on how to improve their health. I knew then that I wanted to use my knowledge in research to help individuals by working one-on-one with them. Having found the significant impacts having to do with diet, exercise, and lifestyle factors, I went down a more alternative path instead of an allopathic one.
With certifications as an Exercise Physiologist and a Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiologist, I started noticing a trend of disease patterns and their connection to biochemistry and energy production in the body. From there, I studied functional blood chemistry analysis, biochemistry, food chemistry, physics, and metaphysics. This led me to getting another bachelor’s degree, in Metaphysics, as well as a master’s degree and doctoral degree in Metaphysics. My doctoral dissertation allowed me to study torsion field physics and the fundamental building blocks of human thoughts, energy, emotions, and beliefs, and their physical impacts on human health.
In addition to opening my private practice, Kinection Holistic Health, LLC, which offers clients from all over the world an opportunity to have sessions with me, I began podcasting to teach more and more people about alternative options and how to identify the root cause of not only health-related things, but relationships and lifestyle issues. Today, I have my own podcast that is on YouTube called, “The Ask Amberleigh Show”.
Lastly, I recently launched MANiCURE., which is a health and lifestyle publication printed as a modern, all-color newspaper that gets delivered straight to a subscriber’s door every quarter. This is in an effort to provide editorial content that is engaging and thought-provoking, while providing health information you cannot get anywhere else, and you can keep and enjoy forever.
Running 3 businesses, including a media company, was not what I ever expected for my life, but it’s been an amazing and rewarding ride!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been the smoothest road. Even though I am very lucky to have something in my life I am so passionate about, it took me off of a conventional path that is typically of lesser resistance. One of the major things that no one warns you about when choosing to be an entrepreneur is that you have to be a master of everything. Not only do you have to be great at your craft and service (or product) you’re providing, you have to know how to market it, sustain it, and do all of the administrative things that are required, from opening an LLC, to making sure you’re current on licenses, insurances, and all of the other wonderful things that are involved in owning and running a business. Plus, the boom in online blogs, newsletters, podcasting, and social media platforms as marketing arms for business, those forms of media have inadvertently become businesses in and of themselves, with the amount of time, work, and management it takes. It can be overwhelming most of the time, and there is always a battle between time and money…how much of it you have to hire and train employees and contractors along the way, versus how much of it you can save by doing things yourself. Some days are much more difficult than others, but I am happy I chose this path, overall.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Kinection Holistic Health, LLC is a private practice offering health and lifestyle sessions to clients all over the world. Specifically, I work with a client’s beliefs in order to create a change in the physical body and physical world around them. In essence, these changes improve their overall health & lifestyle. What sets my practice apart is that I studied the physical nature of a thought and the structure of beliefs, identifying which aspects of that structure would cause the most profound physical changes, and I’ve translated that into how that creates physical effects in a person’s DNA, health, relationships, and physical reality. This knowledge, experience, and philosophy serve as the foundation of my unique practice.
I will work with your health history, current symptoms, blood work chemistry, genetic testing, and current lifestyle to determine the best course of action. In addition, I use intuitive insight that helps to target the exact root, plus, my deep understanding of metaphysics, allows me to connect all of the contributing factors together into one big picture, setting you up for success you have yet to find anywhere else.
This is because this strategy and skill set is largely rooted in the physics and science of what drives our physical bodies and physical world, which is energy. This science is known as metaphysics, as it goes “beyond the physics”. Simply put, metaphysics is looking at the fundamental nature of our physical world. Similar to Wifi or Bluetooth, a technology where you can’t hear, see, taste, touch, or smell it, it’s the intangible waves of energy carrying information that create a physical impact. These waves form our physical world and our physical bodies. From this rudimentary level, you can make changes. And these changes create a ripple effect up to the physical level that you can then see and/or experience.
Things that are measured in waves are brain waves (thoughts) and heart rate (emotions). The combination of thoughts and emotions produce beliefs. The waves of information involved in a belief is highly impactful for one’s physical world, because that particular wave of energy is amplified. For example, DNA can be measured in waves of information that wind (tighten) and unwind (loosening), that can either hide or unlock specific genes that inform the physical body for how to function correctly (i.e., MTHFR, COMT, VDR, and other genetic predispositions), and the emotions and beliefs of a person can cause the DNA to wind or unwind and replicate throughout the day. This largely affects how vitamins, minerals, nutrients, food, and your environment get processed in your body. This, therefore, affects your mood, your thoughts, your functioning…and your relationships, your behaviors, your choices…and your reality. These things also get passed down from generation to generation, which is why it’s very common to see patterns of behavior and similar health outcomes passed down from our parents, grandparents, etc. This can result in how you handle blood sugar, how much cholesterol you produce, your hormones, your weight, how well you detox and clear toxins and heavy metals, if you get your feelings hurt easily, if you tend to feel overwhelmed or worried, if you’re sensitive or more empathic or intuitive, if you are an overachiever or OCD, if you’re prone to depression or ADHD, if you have an excess of ammonia in your blood (commonly mistaken as bi-polar), and so much more (especially nuanced issues, like feeling more insecure, etc.). Through analyzing blood work, genetic testing, and working with beliefs and how to change them, this can change what information gets processed through the body and how an individual functions, feels, and relates to the world. This is what majorly sets my practice apart from anyone else’s.
ARC Media, LLC is my media company that produces my podcast, “The Ask Amberleigh Show” and MANiCURE., my health & lifestyle publication that’s printed as a modern newspaper, delivered to a subscriber’s door every quarter. This branch of my business is focused on education and marketing, carrying a very unique message to large audiences, while supporting other small businesses with advertising and promotions. I’ve unintentionally become an influencer of sorts, being able to try out products and businesses myself, and then sharing that with my audiences to help improve their lives, as well. It’s been a very fun and rewarding experience. Plus, I’ve gotten a chance to do public speaking engagements, biohacking conferences, and hosting wellness retreats along the way.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice would be to keep believing in yourself and connecting to what lights you up. There will be many opinions along the way, and the best advice is your internal compass. Stay true to yourself. Also, delegate tasks when you can. Lean on others to help you get the job done, especially when there are things that don’t require your unique skill set to get accomplished.
