Alright, Amber thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea of Amor Cabello Collection because as the seasons changed a lot of my clients wanted hair extensions versus braids as protective styles in the colder months. I then came up with the idea of having my own hair extension line and offer a one stop shop for my clients where they can purchase the hair directly from me and get their installs. I knew this would be an awesome opportunity for my clients to get high quality hair at an affordable price. It took me 2 years to find the perfect vendor to deliver my expectations of what good quality hair extensions were. It was very important to me that the hair extensions had a long life span of at 2 + years to keep down the cost for my clients purchasing new bundles everytime they wanted an install. Because of my hard work and studying the industry I was able to deliver everything I wanted for my hair extension line. Majority of my clients were able to have 4 + installs using the same hair purchased for Amor Cabello Collection.

My name is Amber Tiara and I’m for Founder & CEO Of Amor Cabello Collection & My new Skin Care Line Aimer La Beaute’. I got into the beauty industry as it was always a dream of mine since I was a little girl. The products that I offer are High Quality Hair Extensions & 100% Natural Skin Care Products. I’m most proud of being able to offer affordable high quality products to my clients and potential customers at affordable prices. I’ve been in the beauty insldustry for 7 years now and what I hear a lot is that people appreciate great products but at affordable prices, and me having the knowledge and patience to explain and answer all questions and concerns is what my clients and customers appreciate the most. Shopping with my brands you’ll always recieve high quality products and customer service. I’m always open to share and help my clients choose products that fits them best.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
When I first started Amor Cabello Collection, a very close family member invested $600 into me for me to get started. I was very thankful and appreciative because a lot of people wouldn’t have thought that was enough but for me it was. I flipped that $600 3 times, was able to pay them back and had extra to continue to put more money up to have more products on hand, get my labeling and packaging all from the same vendor.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think what helped me build my reputation was my knowledge of the industry, my big personality for sure lol, and my communication to my clients and customers. Also having great products that spoke for themselves.
