Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amber Smoke. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amber, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I believe my upcoming album will be the most meaningful project, The album has many different records about life, relationships, society, etc. I also believe my record “Isn’t It Funny?” was pretty meaningful. The record touched on a lot of issues.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a recording artist and actress from Houston, TX. I got into a profession that I’ve dedicated my entire life to. I enjoy being creative and having a voice. It’s a really great outlet. I also, enjoy playing many different roles and being able to transform into the character that people need to complete a TV show or film. My favorite thing to do is to create and share what I’ve created. I got into the business by overcoming a lot and focusing on my goals. I am always proud of how far I’ve come. My supporters mean the world to me and I really appreciate them. They know my brand is to be myself, remain versatile, and be good to others.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Share, share, share! If you see an artist you vibe with, share their work. Repost their content. Spread the word. Nothing resonates more than a genuine liking by someone you’re familiar with so let your friends and fam in on the wave. There are many different ways to support an artist. Liking, commenting, streaming their music, getting tickets to their shows, can be just a few ways to support your new fave artist.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Keep certain things private as it relates to business. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy to see you finally get your flowers or create momentum from your hard work. It’s best to let your accomplishments speak for you. Most times, we speak about what we’re doing before we get it done and I think it’s best just to speak about it once it’s complete and ready to be shared with the world. I had to unlearn the habit of constantly announcing everything that I’d be doing next. Some people will genuinely support, and others may not.
