We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amber Rose a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Amber, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
As an activated Ancestral Medium I was born with the psychic gifts and spirit connection that I work with on a daily basis. For me it was not coming to understand that I possess these gifts, but rather that not everyone does. This was challenging as a small child as one can imagine, and finding safe people to share with was difficult. There is a stigma in Western Society associated with the words “Psychic” and “Medium”, and navigating life without identifyng myself as such was easier, but it was also as if I was living a closeted life. I spent decades trying to fit someone elses idea of who I was “supposed” to be while knowing that mine was a path of service, but also not understanding how I was meant to serve and what form that might take. Over time I found myself on a journey of Spiritual Wellness and within this safe space I began to truly identify as a Medium. The day that I spoke the words “I am a Medium” aloud to a group was the day that my higher self and conscious self fully aligned and I stepped into my authentic human experience.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I call myself The Grandmother Medium. I am a fully activated Ancestral Medium, (one who has been a Medium throughout many lifetimes and is descended from Mediums). I am also a Wife, a Mother and Grandmother. I am told by my clients that working with me is like being free to explore within the safe bubble of energetic protection. Unlocking your gifts is exciting! Staying safe while doing so is incredibly important. I will hold your hand and guide you on your journey of spiritual awareness and psychic development while teaching you how to establish boundaries that protect your energy. Additionally, I have been Board Certified in Hypnotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy, and Results Based Coaching. I am also trained in the practice of Rapid Release of Emotional Stress Technique, and Reiki. These skills may be brought in on an as- needed basis within our sessions. As an Ancestral Medium, I work with my Ancestors, Guardians and Guides, as well as those of my clients to serve their highest good. This shows up through channeling, receiving messages from spirit, and through direct psychic connection with my clients. My work is primarily in Mediumship Mentoring and Hypnotherapy. Within my Mediumship Mentoring Program, individuals meet with me twice monthly one -on- one and once monthly over Zoom as a Group. I meet each person where they are, tuning in to what intuitive gifts they have activated and what they would like to focus on activating in the future. Not everyone identifies as a Medium in this collective, they are all on their own path of developing their gifts and learning to live an intuitive life. Within Hypnotherapy we utilize connection to the unconscious mind through trance to effect behavioral change. In a nutshell I work with many different forms of energy!

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Within my field I am guided entirely by my intuition. I feel my way through life using all of my gifts. The most important of these is the reading of energy. This determines whether a client is right for me or If I am right for them.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
I would absolutely choose the same profession. I love my life, I love serving others and I love helping people navigate the human experience in a kinder, gentler way.
