Amber, appreciate you joining us today. Have you ever had an amazing boss, mentor or leader leading you? Can you us a story or anecdote that helps illustrate why this person was such a great leader and the impact they had on you or their team?
Certainly! I had a boss who truly taught me the value of embracing fear as a motivator. Prior to working with her, I was quite shy and tended to stick within my comfort zone by interacting only with familiar faces. However, she recognized the importance of networking and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone.
She emphasized that fear of judgment often holds us back from taking action, but with her guidance and the support of my mother, they instilled in me the courage to push past those fears. My boss consistently pushed me beyond my comfort zone, encouraging me to take on new challenges and seek opportunities for growth.
By embracing this fear and stepping out of my comfort zone, I experienced personal and professional growth that I could have never imagined. I learned the value of networking, building relationships, and being open to new experiences. This shift not only improved my confidence but also expanded my horizons and opened doors to exciting possibilities.
Thanks to my boss’s guidance and encouragement, I gained a newfound appreciation for facing fears head-on and using them as a catalyst for personal development. Her mentorship not only helped me professionally, but it also positively impacted my life overall.

Amber, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I can confidently say that there is no greater satisfaction than being in business to add value to both yourself and others’ lives. As a proud insurance agency owner, I have nearly two years of experience in this role, building upon my over eight years of experience in the insurance industry. In November 2021, amidst the challenges of the pandemic and months of restrictions and lockdown, I made a bold decision to open my own agency. It was a moment when I truly believed in trusting the process.
For me, discipline is an essential factor in achieving success. I firmly believe that starting the day with a well-structured morning routine can make a world of difference. Establishing and following a routine has been instrumental in reaching my goals, both personally and professionally. If I were to describe myself, I would say that I am a hard-working and self-motivated individual who wakes up every single day driven by the pursuit of success. To me, success means creating a better life not only for myself but also for my family.
Located in Hurst, Texas, just outside of Fort Worth, my agency allows me to utilize my extensive experience to guide people in obtaining the best insurance coverage for themselves and their loved ones. Focusing on homeowners, renters, auto, and life insurance, I take pride in helping individuals find policies that suit their specific needs.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Referrals have been the real MVP when it comes to attracting new clients. Cliché as it may sound; however, there often lies truth within cliché’s, but referrals are actually the most effective and cost-efficient strategy. I believe that prioritizing the customer experience is essential in this process. By creating a unique and memorable experience, we can leave a lasting impression on our customers. Ultimately, our goal is to make people feel better after every interaction with us.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Establishing a strong market reputation often involves positioning oneself as a valuable industry resource. Social media offers an excellent platform for achieving this, as it allows you to inform people about your work through posts. The beauty of it is that you don’t have to be a social media expert to utilize its benefits. Engaging with your audience, sharing valuable content, and showcasing positive customer experiences can all contribute to building trust and gaining buy-in for your brand or business. Personally, I find that sharing customer reviews and expressing how they make me feel as a business owner helps establish a genuine connection and demonstrate expertise in my field.
