Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amber Love. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Amber, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

As a current mother, minister, educator, self-published author, and business owner, I faced many challenging obstacles that tried to limit me from succeeding in life. However, through the love of Jesus Christ, I overcame those challenges. I’ve become a self-published author of “Soar Beyond Your Limiting Thoughts and Emotions,”and “Kingdom Demonstrator.” With this victory, I have missioned to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and write books to encourage others to soar beyond any circumstance that may appear limiting to them. In Christ Jesus, nothing is impossible!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

This journey began in 2017 while attending a church revival. I received a prophetic word given by Prophet Daniel Powell Sr. that revealed who I was in Jesus Christ. During this time in my life, I completely ran away from the calling of God. I was challenged with disappointments in life, and I became disheartened and frustrated. With no direction in concern of my life, I became wavery listening to what my surrounding circle wanted me to accomplish, instead of following the path that I knew that I was called to. In this moment, life was miserable. I had many tangible things that are golden to the eye, but I was very discontent with my life. I felt limited, from the negative opinions of others that spoke to me as if I was a failure in life. I knew that I had to follow the call of God. I did not know where to begin, so I pray continually to Jesus, and as I prayed I began to write. When I wrote my writing flourished from notes to a journal. Then, it became a book. When I wrote, I spoke to myself and encouraged myself to soar beyond any negative situation. No matter the circumstance, I could speak positive over that situation, and I would see overcoming solutions. This is how I became an author. I made declarations over myself when faced with difficulties and I began to soar in Christ Jesus. The prophetic word confirmed that I would minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ and other confirmations for my life. Within the same year, my book was published, I began to minister the good news of Jesus Christ, and I began a career in education. My life had totally changed!

In my profession, I educate 4th graders at a K-6 STEM school, to master their standards and goals in Social Studies and Language/ Arts. My students enjoy their loving and fun learning environment, as they are motivated to reach their highest potential in all they do. Along with teaching, I am privileged to mentor middle schoolers and help them navigate through challenges and prepare for high school. I gracefully sponsor an after-school Poetry club. Through this club, I inspire young youth leaders to write.

I also serve as an Independent CPR Instructor. In this business, I significantly serve and inform others to save lives. These courses include BLS, AED, and First Aid to reach educators, health care professionals, and anyone interested in gaining insight of CPR and First Aid.

As a minister, I gracefully serve as director of Women Excel Outreach Ministry, at Heaven to Earth Worship Center, under the leadership of Prophet Daniel Powell. Through this ministry, military soldiers, expecting mothers and mothers, infants, and toddlers are served and encouraged through the love of Jesus Christ. They receive encouraging teaching from the bible as we share our personal testimonies to inspire them. To their assistance, free items such as groceries, school supplies, back packs, clothing, toys, pampers, baby formula, shoes, clothing, groceries, and baby items are given to these families. All mothers and expecting mothers are welcomed to our free give-aways that are held quarterly. For the military, care packages are sent out monthly to soldiers who are deployed overseas. These packages have purpose to encourage and thank the soldiers for their service as they serve away from their families.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

In resilience, I’ve learnedly that life does not promise us a life without challenges. Everyone on earth will face some difficulty in life. How can we mature, advance, develop, grow, and build, if we don’t learn from life facing obstacles? One thing I do know, is that, by believing in Jesus Christ, all challenges can be conquered. This is how I was able to publish books and be who I am today!

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

Life is not an experience without obstacles. Looking for the easy way or the quickest way out may not be the correct way or purpose for our life. An unlearned lesson for me is to not see adversity as a failure or a downfall. However, to embrace life’s adversities to learn and grow from them.
