Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amber King. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amber, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
The biggest risk I think I have taken was moving to atlanta georgia from long island new york. About two years ago I chose to leave and bark on a new adventure. I was guided by my spirit’s And ancestors To move to atlanta to get back into the natural holistic indigenous ways of healing. I have been through a variety of my own drama such Eyes being expelled from school , living in the woods for 2 years, abuse, death of brother, gun violence and so much more. It was my mission to heal myself and then in return Help my clients heal themselves. I call myself amber The soul therapist because I use a variety of non traditional ways of healing the mind

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As a licensed master social worker who provides mental health therapy as well as sole therapy.I primarily focus on integrating the aspects of the mind body and soul to heal. In particular I get to the root cause of trauma Or significant events that are still affecting the client to this day. I also specifically focus on subconscious work where I do regressions to Clients descensized from their traumus and trigger so they can live an amazing life.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
After my brother passed away in 2018 I became homeless and very depressed period at this time.I was finishing my last semester in grad school. However, was unable to do it. I ended up taking some time for myself to heal through to my brother’s death and from there.I ended up graduating the following year. Throughout my life I have been through many trials and tribulations and I feel that every single one of them has Built my resilience to be even stronger than I thought it was possible. This would be the perfect example of what post traumatic growth is rather than ptsd. All of the difficult challenges I have experience has just given me motivation to keep going even more.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
One thing i’ve really been getting more into and have a love for is the power of frequency. I Incorporate sound frequencies tuning for sound bowls and drumming. As a way to energetically clear the body and also help with healing the body physically mentally and spiritually. There has been more and more research in the effects of how frequency can truly heal people from different alignments
