We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amber Clancy a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Amber, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
Although I started my business at the peak of the Pandemic, October 4, 2020 was my season to launch my empire.
Had I started sooner, I never would’ve had the same drive nor determination to see my vision come into fruition.
During that time, I privately dealt with many life changing situations, which had a major effect on me mentally and emotionally.
So, starting when I did was perfect timing looking back in hindsight.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Once I stepped out of my own way, life began to open many doors and I was able to showcase my creative abilities.
I am extremely innovative and constantly working to prefect my presentation, through building business relationships with those who have been in the industry longer than I have.
Attempting to launch a business during a worldwide pandemic was taking a huge risk, but I made it my mission to encourage others by having unwavering faith to accomplish anything they put their minds to, whether in their personal lives or careers.
My brand is well known for the oasis of pre-arranged delicacies such as: fresh fruit platters, gourmet deli sandwiches, homemade dips, beautifully arranged grazing boards and grazing tables. Which is complementary to any affair.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Creative content matters and even a little can go a long way. I’ve learned that most people respond better when your post or flyer isn’t too wordy.
A clever catchphrase or a beautifully well thought out flyer will draw in your audience.
Even sharing incentives for social media engagement is an effective way to drive your brand.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Word of mouth and vendor events has worked best in my experience. Most consumers prefer shopping at vendor events to connect with local business owners.
