We recently connected with Amb. Mercy Ifeanyi / Mentor/Liife Coach Nwachukwu and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Amb. Mercy Ifeanyi / Mentor/Liife Coach , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I anchored a very meaningful project during covid 19 lockdown though we always have had meaningful projects and that period was the peak of our humanity periods as we went all out helping people and making sure we support humanity
We shared palliative to the needy and hungry people
We empowered people thru media to observe covid 19 rules and we made noise mask to support several people to keep the social distancing

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
My name is Amb Mercy Ifeanyi Nwachukwu Ukah, an African Nigerian from the Eastern part of Nigeria, I was born in the early eighties and grew up with my parents and sibling of eleven in number, I grew up from the ghetto or streets of lagos Nigeria with little or no experience and coming from a very poor background i ended up having to strive so hard to support my family in raising me and also earn a living to help my parents train me in school.
I grew up through my parents and I studied from my primary to secondary education which led me into gaining more knowledge and experiences having gone through the tertiary institutions to acquire a Bachelor of science degree certificate in sociology and master degree certificate in human resources management, I later was able to gain more knowledge in certificate courses in marketing, mentorship and business training and development, I mastered the act marketing and mentoring , I became a mentor and life coach which added to my passion for humanity and humanitarian services I became a life coach founding two NGOs to empower women and youths and I advocated for human rights standing for justice and peace I also advocated strongly for women ,girl child and youths in Africa and diaspora.
Professionally I am a trained and seasoned marketing consultant who majored in sales and services of brands, products and individual development, I market and make researches on brand development and new business schools to expand brands and gain market shares
Through my business and personal experience I served and worked with various multi national companies in Nigeria and other African countries while multi taking as a business brand manager and marketing manager I ventured Into humanitarian services through my non governmental organisations to help humanity and support the less privileged and needy amongst us this has been my core passion driven area while I continue with my career and business to work and make money to finance my NGOs to help reach the needs of the needy.
I help touch lives positively through my humanitarian services to the community, society and individuals in various communities and where ever I find myself I have impacted various people and great number of vulnerable people, through my NGOs I have created outreach that support people who are vulnerable and poor, lonely and disabled, I have a mentoring school where I mentor women and youths for free in various communities and this has brought me this far in life while I continue to spread the gospel of love, care, unity, selflessness and giving helping hands to the needy as this makes the world a better place to dwell in and also help to give hope to the hopeless .
My greatest joy and pride is seeing my humble self from a very low and poor background giving out helping hand to the less privileged and needy knowing my root and how poor I started and coming this far has been the greatest pride I have and this makes me feel really proud of myself as a human being who took such risk and strived so well to keep focus and energy with all my little resources for humanity and till date I am still striving through life to keep my dreams alive while working on my goals and aims to reach out to every single needy person out there and also preach the good gospel of humanity as a strong tool to making our world a better place for us all to love in.
I call out to other humanitarian and philanthropist from other communities and countries to team up with me let’s grow this network by reaching out to more needy people out there give them helping hands and grow our network to stand firm for the next generations to see, and emulate to the other generation to come after us.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience on socio media through my humanitarian experiences, works and creative ideas, I created various programs and run various online projects for humanity services where I mentored people for free at no charges with great impactation on them positively
Especially on family issues, marriages, single parents and parenting,, laying emphasis on women and youths I was able to create great online contents with topics, themes and projects gearing towards empowering women and youths and also protecting the interest of the girl child and working online projects against child abuse, domestic violence and girl child trafficking and prostitution, drug abuse, rape, suicide and murder prevention.
I always and constantly create contents which are life changing from life experiences and challenges of life with practical examples and field outreach to educate people and make them voice out their traumas and challenges we profer solutions through supports from mental health and physical education, mentoring and empowerment
I have media team that focus on my programs on daily basis and weekly we go live streaming, and YouTube our works with the use of other online platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and television with radio stations and magazines and new papers we reach out massively to the people and having them as our audience and followers on our handles and pages
We have done over 5000 programs and mentoring sections with several live streaming programs that have large audience following us and participating in our programs for free at no cost
We gave also our audience platform to reach out to us via our handles but joining us on line and also sending messages through interactive sections from different locations
My advise for starters and those just starting to build online presence and audience of their works is to remain focus, draw your lines and work to achieve your set goals, aims and objectives be very resilient and determined to achiene your goals , be very dynamic and creative as the world changes by the day and every minute new things evolve pushing old things behind always rebrand urself and mindset, be open to changes and ready to adapt never allow fears or uncertainty get you off balance or kill your drive or goals , always making your audience connect with your ideas and creativity
Finally be very original be yourself and believe In your goals and style that makes you uniquely different from others..

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My journey into what I do and represent has always shared my story to people and the audience I have always been very resilient and never give up on my goals in life especially on what my passion have creatively led me into doing as a humanitarian and philanthropist a giver and someone who love and find great passion in helping others with the little resources I have
I have encountered and experienced so many different experiences and issues that has either shaped my personality and also has helped in guiding my career pathe and journey in life, because I am doing the act of humanity and helping others as a mentor and care giver to the needy I have met with the good the bad and the ugly of all kinds of people with some bitter and good experiences to share
Most times even after helping out I become the victim or the person at the end of humanity where I have to strive to heal from the experiences and still move on to the next person to help
The risk I take most times in solving other people’s need and create ideas that will solve their problems have atimes affected my own personality and life but at the end I strive to get back to myself and wellbeing knowing these are the sacrifices one have to render to serve humanity and community works and cares .
Many times I have rendered humanity support that ended up taking me back financially and even drain me emotionally, mentally even physically an example of when I have to single handedly fund my programs and projects alone with no support and help from the government or donors after such herculean efforts and task one become financially down and still keep striving to meet with the next task this can be so discouraging and stressful but due to passion we keep striving ahead.
My stories are of humanity services and care most times you easily feel them than see them from the impact on those we help and atimes some of these experiences are better expressed by those we help but on a general terms we can’t quantify or specify the act of care and love we give to people we support because these things are better felt than see by the ordinary eyes
We love what we do and our satisfaction lie in seeing people get touched by what we do and giving is an act of love and care for one another because that makes the world a better society.
