Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amaury Vazquez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amaury, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
Honestly, I haven’t really thought much about the legacy I want to leave behind—mostly because I’m just getting started in the content creation and management game. But that question definitely stuck with me. As I start building the foundation for my company, I want to make sure it’s aligned with the vision I have and where I want it to go.
A few years back, I was playing drums for a local Grand Rapids Mexican band called Los Parientes De Durango. One day, I grabbed a camera—a little Sony ZV1—and just started vlogging. I wanted to show fans and our community a side they didn’t normally get to see. I brought that camera everywhere we went, started learning editing software, making short clips, and just putting content out on social media.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve got a handful (plus) of businesses I support with content creation and website design—everything from music and food to construction. I’m seeing a hobby slowly turn into a real business. Using my creativity to help small businesses thrive just makes sense—it lines up perfectly with what mauuproductions is all about: turning visions into visuals and helping grow your brand, whatever it may be.
Big shoutout to all the homies who supported me from day one and shared my work—y’all really helped make this journey what it is.

Amaury, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
A little more about Amaury (aka mauu)—I’ve always been that computer and content guy. The one who likes to think outside the box and isn’t afraid to try something different from the norm. You can ask any of my close friends—they’ll tell you I’m always experimenting, always trying new things, and rarely doing it the “standard” way.
One thing I’ve gotta highlight is the support I’ve gotten from my family. Big shoutout to the wifey—she’s been my rock through this journey. She keeps me grounded and focused on who I am and where I want to go. Every day she’s asking me what projects I’ve got going on, reminding me about timelines I committed to, and still supporting me while I juggle my 9-to-5. So yeah, MauuProductions is technically a part-time hustle—but the time, energy, and heart I put in definitely make it feel full-time. Late nights, weekends, whatever it takes to build this brand into something real.
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is working with friends in the food industry. They tell me how much love they’ve been getting on the content I’ve created for them—and even better, it’s led to more clients coming my way through referrals. We’ve even sat down together to look at the numbers and see how much of a difference just one solid social media post, flyer, or video can make in boosting their sales.
If you’re reading this or following any of my content work—just know, I’m always open to connecting with anyone who needs support or wants to collaborate. mauuproductions to the moon!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What I think has really shaped my reputation in this space is just being true to who I am and how I carry myself in business. I’m big on professionalism—treating every project like I’m the client. How you work, how you communicate, and how you deliver all matter.
On top of that, I try to be someone who’s easy to work with. I want people to feel like they can trust me, vibe with me, and actually enjoy the process—whether we’re collaborating or just connecting.
And honestly, being on stage with a band over the years and putting myself out there kind of trained me to be an extrovert. It’s helped me feel comfortable in front of people, both online and in real life, and I think that’s added a personal touch to how I connect with clients and the community.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
What I find most rewarding in this industry is the little things—like seeing people share the content I’ve created, or even when someone uses a photo I took as their profile picture. That stuff hits different. It’s just cool knowing I played a part in their brand, in one way or another.
