Hi Amara, thanks for joining us today. Do you manage your own social media?
Yes, I manage my own! I LOVE creating content and making fun videos to advertise! I do all my own social media advertising.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi! My name is Amara and I am the owner and creator of Amara’s cards. My cards are greeting cards for any and all occasions which are all handmade by me. I used to scrap book a lot and since the times have changed and most photography is digital now, I don’t print a ton or make scrap books anymore. However, I love pretty paper and being able to express my creativity and make something. I absolutely love making cards, especially for Christmas!! Each one is one of kind and there are no two the exact same!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I am currently trying to grow my business via social media, which can be a huge challenge and frustrating at times. The main thing is to be yourself, be patient, be consistent and don’t give up! People love videos, so this is a time where I can really show off my creativity in making videos for content to advertise. Social media is the best way to advertise and it’s free!
