We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Amanda Waterman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Amanda below.

Alright, Amanda thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How’s you first get into your field – what was your first job in this field?

I was looking for answers to why people would relapse after going to inpatient treatment for drugs and alcohol. I knew that there was something that we were missing… but what was it? I chose to jump right into energy healing as soon as I had experienced my own session with my friend. I was not aware what energy healing was at that time and it was very intriguing. After that session everything in my life kept creating a space for me to help others. Every conversation I had with any of my friends I would ask them, “I wonder if you have a trapped emotion”? I knew that this was the missing answer to my question. So I made a decision to learn how to become an energy healer and that was my main focus. I learn everything that I could learn. I became a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner.

This wasn’t just a job, it was my new way of life. My divine purpose.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What sets me apart from other practitioners is that I came up with my “heart wall protocol”. A very specific detailed series of releases that helps create as much change as possible. As I go through the session with a client I get, what I call, divine downloads. I get visions, I may hear something, smell something, I may get a pain somewhere in my body… it all has to do with the client that I am working with. So much goes into each session. Even ancestors may even come in for a healing or just for love and support. It’s so beautiful when that happens. I love when I can heal the family lineage but my passion is helping find the antidote to help those stuck in addiction.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

Having an open heart, open mind and I trust my knowing. School, teachers and training can only help you as much as their innerstanding on the subject. They are there to get you started and it might be meant for you to go much farther than the course offers. That’s where you find what sets you apart from other practitioners. Everyone has their own divine gifts and talents. If you “think” you “know” everything already then you may not be open enough to learn anymore and you cut off your awareness of what may be out there waiting for you.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

I have several businesses but I mainly use attraction and magnetic marketing. Meaning, the clients that I am looking for are looking for me and they will be drawn to me because I am the one that can help them at this now moment. It’s really all divine timing. I also work just word of mouth. Many of my clients share their experiences working with me with their friends and they will share my information with them. The best compliment is when they refer me to friends and family.
